Title: Evil of Caphori
Post by: matter on 05-05-2012
Okay here is a couple questions about bad guys.
Why are all the bad guys of Caphori always mobbed and killed?
I mean isn't there other ways of stopping evil besides killing it?
When haven't you just killed the bad guy?

Well, Pum was a bad guy. But they managed to turn him back to the good side, when he was a Husk.

I actually wanted to make a Lich character that asks adventurers to do things for him to where he could become human again. But he actually becomes humanlike and becomes powerful, summoning zombies, skeletons, typical evil army creatures.

Then a hero comes along, kills him, and then he's a lich again. Bound to his crypt until the process repeats.

That being said, I have too many characters.
1 SP
1 SP and MP (Sin, whom i rarely use.)
3 MP (Leo, Dio, and Captain Morgan)

But not after trying to kill him a million times.

:\ well...would you prefer a maximum security prison, reinforced with magic meant to keep all out and in? Other than that...killing seems to be the easier option  ;D

Ruk usually takes an "It'll all work out" approach due to the death of every villain ever. I guess because...it's the right thing to do? XD idk

Well if i have to I'm gonna start making it so any evil characters i have can only be stopped one way... that way you actually have to do something instead of just running me through with a sword.
And I like Ruk's approach.
Also, there are other cases when you just really need to kill the bad guy, like demons and such.

I WILL be having a bad character (If you listened to why Ruk was gone for so long, you'd know some details) and let's just say fighting won't do much. :3

My attempt at being the villain, I was physically unkillable, as my character was acting the part of a balancing system, which although cut short, it required creating 1 of 2 situations to "Satiate" the villain and make them leave. ( maybe even forever, or atleast until everyone is bored again. )

It seems it was fun because they were trying to figure it out and there was a bit scene so it was easier to integrate within the RP as it played out even if you joined late.

That being said, it'd be really easy to make villains you can just slay, if you didn't do that the instant you found out they were evil. That just makes the RP stale and quick, leaving everyone bored after about 15 minutes of RP because everyone mobs the villain.. Which actually, I get the feeling a lot of people don't want to try being the villain.. because of that reason.

Anywho, I might become a villain again for awhile. So, tell me how I do and what I could do to improve it, I do try to watch how people react, so that I can switch it up IC if needed.

Yes, I was putting this as an example. Apparently, villains have to be pretty OP to withstand the situation of being mobbed.
