Title: Dangerous Jungle, Delicious Rewards
Post by: Syndraell on 25-10-2011
As of late, running through the jungle, I have ran across a few gold chests (mainly the special items taken)
3 life crystals (which i have no use for, as i have max hp) an angel statue, (for which there is use for in next update) and 4 and a third stack of gold.

:3 I have no use for these heart crystals, but i'll trade them for stuff.

Whats weird is I noticed that when people say all the ores are gone they just mean the first 2 layers of stuff.... because after I left dirt and stone wall area I found gold veins, silver veins, iron veins, and all sorts of stuff. Even found some chests.

They're not ALL gone.  It's just that it's harder for brand new people to find ore in areas that won't kill them so easily, and even in some deeper places.  Deep below the surface in the areas that get higher traffic, it's a lot rarer to find ores.  You could go within the jungles and the corrupted areas and probably find more, including chests, but most brand new players won't survive in those areas. Especially the corruption, unless they have purification powder, are willing to dig all the way around the corrupted zone to get beneath it, or conveniently find a hole someone else has already made.

I'm going to appear on Terraria and the corruption will just stop existing one night.

When did I say I wasn't taking any loot?

Well when you compare how hard it is to find loot in large mining areas which is most of the caves and dense ore areas of the world. Even if you did take a bunch of loot that doesn't change the fact that there would be access to more loot whether its the stuff you missed or the stuff below the area you scavenged.
