I sometimes envy other countries when you can have a M4 or various other firearms.

1) L85A2. From the REME terrirotrial army base near me
2) Ammo. From the REME TA base and maybe Kimnel camp a training base for Army cadets. It's stocked with ammo such as 5.56 NATO, .22 and has weapons such as the LSW
3) Canned food. My house
4) My Army cadet uniform (Gotta have camoflauge, don't know who will be watching you)
5) A small tent
1) Crowbar
2) Weekly supply of food
3) My cat

1. Cans of food, takes long to expire

3. Survival knife, to shape wood, create shelter if needed, hunt, use the light to check the time.
4. Money
5. Bright clothing or objects to lay down if needing to alert someone of your position for rescue.
Wouldn't it be just smarter to stay inside your house? I mean if there's no mutants and all buildings stand all you need is a generator and some gas.

Canned Food.
Pen Knife with can opener and all the other bits and bobs.
Mobile Phone, even without a signal it has many applications which could help such as being used as a flashlight.
Drinking Flash for storing water.
