That event last night was total bullshit. Im trying very hard to work on the script and map and i get plunger + cutch and several others abusing shit to high-hell and for what. Pking hessen and half the bos? That's fucking discusting and i will NOT stand for it.
Cutch is no longer a admin here and nor is plunger. Anyone else who was involved can get the fuck out too. The FRA has been a joke ever since idiots started running it so they are going to be disbanded. Let's say a bomb blew them to shit. To replace them i might bring in the NCR or something along those lines.
I don't want any of our new admins to resign or BoS to be disbanded because of this bullshit, up until now they have been the best faction on the fallout server. Im sorry you had to put up with this bullshit.

Currently it's just Khorn however im sure ill find others who are mature and won't use it as a "perk". There are tiers, it's basically the same system i designed for srp.

Also, half of this Paint and I both agreed Hessen would be PKed, and even Cannon agreed before too. we ALL(Paint,Rago,me) knew this was going to happen, and why the BoS blew a casket is beyond me because I was in the middle of an RP elsewhere with the Enclave.
And the subject of my abuse? I let BOS have tons of shit, more than Enclave or FRA. I let them paycheck farm in their base, when they went afk for sometimes hours on end. The Howitzers were called in from a MILITARY BASE 300 miles away. We waited 2 IRL weeks for them to get here. Cannon and Paint were completely fine with it, and they both knew that they were going to get bombed.
Maybe if you actually gave someone SV (I don't even want it), then someone could actually DECIDE on some shit since you are obviously too busy working on the script to do JACK SHIT when it comes to administration. Yes, there were a couple of times during the event that were touchy. NO, Plunger, myself, Rago, nor Paint ever abused during that event, or prior to the event.
Plunger and Cutch didn't abuse anything. The artillery was for a ONE SHOT event and it was discussed earlier that the Enclave WOULD DESTROY IT during that event to prevent mad power gaming. The ONLY sketchy part about the event was FRA entering the town after it had been mininuked to go bother the BoS. The BoS handled that rather poorly with their "We totally boobytrapped that room because we knew this would happen" with no proof of RPing setting that trap up. There were 2 FRA guys and 8 BoS guys. The BoS could have fought and won and there wouldn't be a problem. Instead they tried some weird powergamed "Lol we has a bomb" and THAT was where the issue was.
Hessen was PK'd because both Ragolution and I ICly were approached by him and threatened that if we did not ally with FRA or do what they wanted they would turn their artillery on us. Naturally that pissed us off. Hessen also ICly is a pretty brutal psychotic dictator type with a reputation for wanton slaughter. That was a legit PK. He was manning the artillery which I dropped a bomb on so they would not be able to fire on my positions. It's not hard at all to trace artillery fire, especially when you KNOW which faction has it and where that faction's base is. I even sent an Eyebot before hand to "spot" for the vertibird that wrecked their shit. No one had any issue with that.
Silver I appreciate you trying to set things right but you weren't there and you don't know what happened. FRA did nothing abusive EXCEPT possibly trying to enter the BOS bunker after their town on the surface had been nuked which to me doesn't make much sense. The BoS should have fought it out with them. They would have won and no one would have complained. It's because the BoS asspullled these super explosives out of nowhere and tried to say they had boobytrapped every door in their bunker with them that this became an issue.

I'm going to address it from the simple viewpoint of myself.
The FRA artillery'd us. Okay.
Enclave Nuked us. Still okay.
I walk out to go talk to Enclave, getting some serious radiatiation poisoning. Okay.
Nulled because the FRA was apparently camping our entrance the whole time. Mostly Okay.
FRA comes down, through the rads to see us. Not okay.
Someone decides to dictate what we have in our base. Not okay.
Someone decides to say we can't have something ICly if we don't know how to do it OOCly. Not okay.
People start assuming everything and say we've got c4 doorframes, which is untrue. Not okay.
I love the whole concept of the 'FRA', I like the themes of gangsters, fits well in the fallout world.
However, right now I think Fallout RP needs a 'Wastelanders buddy' fraction. I know NCR arn't the kindest to wastelanders all the time but right now they seem like a good choice.

Why is everyone saying the Arty was my idea, and that I've given people items which is impossible by the way, because giveitem commands don't work for SA's. I was on for one day, not plotting some massive conspiracy.

My issue was that we did RP putting the explosives in, then the FRA decided we had C4 doorframes.

The NCR are familiar to most, it helps new players adjust to their surroundings. On the other hand, what you say it correct. So how about we make our own twist on the NCR?
Seeing as this is all set in Kentucky, how about this NCR regiment/platoon/group be a bunch of neglected racoon hunting hicks who spend time creating moonshine? Rather than being a competitive bunch ICly and OOCly, their main goal can be helping wastelanders and enjoying the simple life.

One thing remains. Wastelanders have no where to go.
Sure they might go to areas occupied by FRA/NCR.
But they will either get drafted/killed/robbed.
FRA/NCR plays a vital role in this.
While BoS should have their royal bunker and hide in it,
sometimes go out, get tech, then get back in.
If Wastelanders tried to make a playerbased town, it would probably be destroyed.

In my opinion. This server needs a large map or two actual servers.
However we have no playerbase to be big enough for two servers.
Someone in the wasteland surely would try to rebuild civilization.
A republic. Not everyone is daft, dull and pesimistic without ideals or any hope.
That's where NCR comes in. Player friendly, offering a lot in many ways.
Whether it is having a bar or being a citizen and working in their town,
or joining up with the military it should be there, to help the player start off.
Not get draged into faction wars and eventually killed/robbed or whatever.
When I played FO/FO2/FO3/FNV, there were always towns who ran them selves.
Like The Hub, Shady Sands, Megaton, Goodsprings, Novac and etc.
Fallout is all about the wastelander life, the ups and downs, and the whole feeling of the wasteland.
The player would rarely ecounter BoS/Enclave etc.
And from what I see here you ecounter them all the time and interact more than in any game.
The main factions the wastelander is suppose to interact with is other wastelander/traders/caravans/player based groups/factions and towns/raiders etc.
Giving him ways to earn money or live off the actual land.

FRA fucked up horribly in their wastelander relations. They could have easily been that "friendly" faction but instead they decided to extort, rob, DM, and torture wastelanders because Hessen didn't get what they were supposed to do. Adding the NCR isn't going to make things any better just by virtue of it being the NCR. The FRA could easily work if the people behind it just changed how they RP'd a bit.
It needs a new name. Doesn't have to be NCR.

The problem was BoS saying they had hidden bombs all around us in the door frame, and stuff that we couldn't even find if we tried, and would completely obliterate us, but not them who were like ten feet away behind some glass.

Taking over territory and expandimg down ward to Kentucky. Then these peoPle actually come and set up a base in an old building. I was thinking maybe A sports stadium, an old airport, a museum, or a health club. Opinions on my idea of this canadian army or using the other ideas usch as texas or mexico.
