I found a way to get back onto FRP

But it's at the cost of me and anyone else's computer access to the web.

We are still online and connected. But we just can't use any browsers anymore. Or something similar.


What I did was make the router I am connected to, have a static IP address.

If I do that, than I can connect to any server on GMod or other games without that annoying crash. So that means I'm still online.

But If I attempt to use Firefox or Internet Explorer. We get nothing.

Also, my girlfriends crummy laptop can connect to SRP and FRP without me fucking around the router's web page and letting us all use the web at same time.


Anyone have an idea?




What I've learned;

1. Laptop can connect and play. Everyone else can use web.

2. Desktop crashes after connect. Everyone can still use web.

3. Set my router to have a static IP. Desktop can connect and play. No one can use web. But we are still online.

Firefox -. Options -> Network Tab -> Connection -> Settings

You may be able to enter your static ip into the box so it knows what ip to use, although it isn't exactly a proxy, it might just work.
