The Bluegrass Wasteland
AKA. Kentucky/Bluegrass State/Bluegrass Wasteland

Location: East Central Commonwealth - Kentucky- Year 2236

The East Central Commonwealth was one of the thirteen commonwealths of the pre-war United States of America. Created in the early 21st century, it was comprised of the former states of Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.



What you should know:
THIS SERVER TAKES PLACE IN 2236. THAT IS BETWEEN FO 1 AND FO 2. THIS IS NOT NEW VEGAS, THIS IS NOT FO3, THIS IS AN ORIGINAL SETTING WITH SOME KEY DIFFERENCES TO BOTH OF THOSE IN TERMS OF THE FACTIONS (READ FUTHER). DO NOT START RPING LIKE IT IS FO3 OR NV BECAUSE THE OTHER KIDS WILL LAUGH AT YOU AND YOU WILL LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT.
-The Brotherhood of Steel is in between what it is in FO3 and FO: NV. They are not as secretive as they are in NV but they are also not welcoming to wastelanders like they are in FO3. To them, technology acquisition is their purpose for existing and it is their only purpose. While they won't shoot wastelanders on sight they also are not going to be best friends with you either. So watch yourself.
-The Enclave have not made their presence known yet. You might have heard stories from a man who knew a man who knew a man about strange flying machines and men in strange armor but those are just stories at this point. No one knows for sure that the Enclave exist and they certainly have never seen the technology the Enclave has access to. Should you catch a glimpse of an Enclave soldier in game, it should scare you to no end.
-Caesars legion has not been formed yet and you likely haven't heard of any of the tribes Caesar conqured/is conquering because we are in Kentucky/b] and not California/Nevada/Utah.
-Project purity is currently unmanned and never has been manned post-war (and you likely have never heard of it because you are currently in Kentucky and not Washington DC).
-NCR and the Followers of the Apocalypse are not in our wasteland, as they are too far west. It is likely you have heard of the NCR and it wouldn't be completely unheard of to have some sort of knowledge of the Followers of the Apocalypse.
-The Wasteland of Kentucky's name comes from its state nickname, Bluegrass.

Suit System

Players can put on suits which give them advantages and disadvantages, if you put on a Power Armor suit, you will move slower due to the weight, but better protected against the elements. When taking your suit off, unlike SRP's system it will remember your default playermodel so you can keep the model you started with.

Karma

To gain Good Karma you need to kill someone with Bad Karma and likewise someone with Bad Karma needs to kill someone with good Karma. Depending on how high that persons Karma is will reflect on how many Karma points you get. Later on when perks are done, you can collect fingers or ears as rewards.

Skills

Barter, Big Guns, Crafting, Energy Weapons, Explosives, Medicine, Melee, Science, Small Guns

Scrap

Although this may  take awhile to develop, scrap will be used to craft items in FRP, traders and other people may also be interested in purchasing it in bulk from players too.

He didn't mean the name, just crafting. Aka nothing like "make an SMG from 5 scrap metal" just "find proper parts and make an Assault Rifle off them".

Crafting will basically work by recipies, learn one which allows you to know how to craft stuff. Go to a workbench and if you have the right stuff you can craft that object. So, if you want to craft a box, you get 4 pieces of wood. There are already alot of recipies avalaible for you to craft stuff with in fallout.

Actually it will not.
I'm sure people will manage to play on two servers [been there, done that at Desertia necromancy ritual (yes, I didn't say a revival)] and FORP will actually BRING people to SRP.
