Introduction: The year is 2018. The date is April 20th, a few days after the outbreak happened. You and a few other survivors are held up in a small apartment building that is only 3 floors high. You have a metal beerier around the building. Not much food or ammunition. The building has a Broadcasting radio due to a hobbyist who likes to see how far he can get with it. The nights seem to be longer then the days. The constant screams and screeches of the infected people. The water is still running thankfully and so is the electricity. This is where your story begins.
This is my first time making a Forum RP so bare with me here.
You are allowed to have a small side arm such as a 9mm pistol.
As said in the Setting you don't have much ammo or food.
You can not have any Kevlar or things like that due to the outbreak happening in a few days.
Their can be children in the RP if you like to role play as a child.
I am John Cassell. I go by Johnny or John, either one is fine with me.
What is happening now: A sun is just setting and the moon is rising over the town. You can hear the infected screaming as they spot living people. The sirens are blaring through the building. A small fire is burning on the roof to let other survivors know that this is a safe place. Their are no infected around the building.
* John is sitting on the roof next to the fire. He is wearing a tight Tee-shirt and baggy jeans. Seems to be in his mid twenty's. A small pocket knife in his hand as a metal plate with some meat on it. The rooftop door wide open.*

A really quick map of the area.
* David Stone is a student. All he has is what he wore that day in school and his skate board, plus the backpack with his laptop and a headset. He stops at the building with his skate board looking around.
* John looks over the buildings edge. "HEY KID! GET INSIDE!"
* David looks up, doing as told.
* "Once you get inside then come up here!" John leans back and stabs the piece of meat with his knife and takes a large bite out of it.
*David comes up, still looking around, the area unknown to him. Being careful not to get bitten by any infected as he has no idea if there are any around and he has no protection.
* "It's good to see a survivor in all this." * Screams of the infected tear through the city. "Bad thing is, your a damn kid."
*David walks in quietly, sitting down on a chair if there is one.
* " So, whats your name kid?" John stabs the meat again and takes another bit.
"David, thank you for letting me in. And you are?" * He opens his backpack pulling out the laptop, then opening it. He puts a stick into the laptop, you guess it's wireless. Then he pulls out the headset putting it round his neck and the sound to maximum.
* " John." He puts his hand out to David. "Nice to meet you David."
*David shakes his hand quickly, saying "Likewise." Then he returns his look to the laptop.
He seem to be a bit under shock and in a hurry to find something on the web.
"Internet still works."
Kane Hensfield runs along the Street fleeing from 4 Infected's. He's wearing some eye-catching clothes, A Hoodie that look's a bit like a skeleton and a pair of thick boots. He looks like he is around the age of 18 and holds a Fireaxe. He then suddenly turns around and smacks one of the Zombies with the fire axe, a clear cut, the head falls down. As he see's the other Zombies running to him he turns around and tries to flee again, while looking around for a Safe place to stay.

* John leans over the roof top and notices the kid sliceing through the zombies neck with the fire axe. John yells to him " HEY KID! KID! GET IN THE BUILDING! GET TO THE TOP! "

Daniel Greensfield stumbles unassumingly along, His skin tarnished with scratches and scrapes, He is wearing an open windbreaker jacket revealing a Metallica logo shirt and LEVI jeans. on his hip resides a SIG SAUER 1911 uniquely engraved, in his pocket a small Swiss Army Knife for not much but survival. He keeps this pace until he hears the horde of Infected behind him. He starts at a run. He stops at the building were he sees another survivor defending himself with a fire-axe. He draws his knife for whatever mediocre protection it provides as the gun has insufficient ammunition and he no training. He stands his ground with the other survivor. He hears the voice of the man and urges the other survivor to follow.
P.S. This is the first forum RP I have participated in I thought it being the first one someone has started would be perfect. So bare with me as well.
* John screams at them " GET IN! NOW DAMN IT NOW!! GET THE FUCK IN HERE!!" He stands up and grabs the pocket knife from the metal plate and rushes down into the apartment building.

Kane looks to the apartment building and tries to get into it.
* I pushes the front door open and waves Kane in " GO GO GO!"
Kane hurry's and get's into the Apartment with the other Survivor.
* John slams the door shut. " GET THE COUCH AND BARRICADE IT!" He rushes over to the couch and start to push it. As the Zombies shamble up to the door.
kane help's him in Doing so.

* John and Kane push the coach against the wooden door. John falls to the floor and sighs "God damn you guys are going to kill me."
"Nice shirt." David gestures to the man with metallicas logo on it. "Rock on bro."
* John sits up and goes over to the lobby desk. Reaches under it and the speakers in the lobby click on. The song Horse With No Name plays over the speakers.

* John taps David on the arm and says " Alright all, your going to be getting rooms." John crabs a clipboard from the counter "Good thing the contractor just got this place done."
*David puts off his headset, it hanging around his neck, listening to the man.
* " David your on the first floor in room A1. Kane Your in B1. Daniel your in 2A and I am in 2B. We will be doing a search party tomorrow. We need food, guns, and ammo. Get some sleep guys." John slams the clipboard on the Lobby counter and takes a deep breath.
* "Great. Getting eaten first." David laughs. "I doubt I'll be getting any sleep anyhow."
After a minute, he remembers the infected the two brought with them.
"What do we do about those wackos outside?"
* " Oh yeah, if you hear anyone outside the apartment building come and tell me. We might need them. Does anyone have a pistol or anything I could use to kill those bastards outside? We don't want any more attention then we already got."
"Well uh...just the skateboard that often zombies loved to meet head on."
* "Hmm Oh David come with me." John hops off the counter and goes up the stairs to the roof
* David follows him, packing his laptop then putting it into the backpack. Then on his back.

* John grabs a cement black and drops it on top of the zombies that are scratching at the door "Problem solved. Hey David can you get me a map of the city from our location. Were at 2975 Chester Ave."
Kane goes into His Room and Drops down his backpack. He Stores Somerset clothes into The cardboard and Packs away a First Aid Kit behind The clothes "Hmm I maybe can Need it more than The Others, so I better Put it somewhere where they don't find it so fast." he Thinks. He goes into The bathroom and cleans The Bloody Axe.
*Daniel walks up to the roof and announces "Hey if we are doing a scavenge I have a gun with me,
I'm not trained well, it only has 7 bullets, and any shots would likely draw more zed over here, But a gun handle is actually quite an effective bludgeon."*He then sits down and asks, "You have any meat or anything? I'm hungry as hell, and if we get stuck somewhere, we don't want to be stuck without food. Ive read the books I know how it goes"*He is scratching the scrapes all over his body."Need some band-aids too if someone has some, some of that cleaning stuff too, wouldn't want these to get infected."
[I have school for the next 6 hours so I wont be able to respond till 3 o'clock PM USA west-coast time.]
"Sure , I'll get the map for ya." *David pulls out his laptop from the backpack looking the map up on the internet and saving it on his laptop then showing it to John.
Kane goes trough the door and sit's down next to the other's.
*The city is quiet for a moment, then the night air is filled with screaming from the infected on a street nearby. A flare goes off lighting up the buildings in the area and gunfire fills the night air as well as the screams of both the infected and uninfected. The street where it happened is just a few blocks in front of your building, if you consider going towards the flare there are two routes. One goes through the subway which is quick, but it will be cramped and dark or an open street which will have to be taken a while of a way, due to car piles and barricades.*
OOC: No one minds me doing this right, this is just a little event I thought I'd make up for you guys, you can get rid of it or take no notice of it if you want. If you want to do it, you guys do an action and I'll look at what you do and respond. Also once you've all done something wait for me to respond to all your actions, then you can do more actions.
Out of another street, a man running away with a M1911 for the building. He stops and shoots one bullet onto the first zombie in the torso, in it's left side, where the heart is and he shoots twice the second one in the chest. He then runs into another building, closing the door, making big noise and making the zombies easy shots.
He is wearing Big Star jeans and a jacket, a backpack most likely with some items.

*A loud rumble echos down the street Before resolving itself into death metal blaring from maxxed speakers, as a pickup rounds the intersection and slams its way past two abandoned sedans and mounts the sidewalk and minces an infected against the bullbars before pulling into the street again Swering to avoid a bus stop and resumes its overly loud trip past the survivors building and turns right at the end of the street*
Kane looks at the flare and when he hears the Jeep je looks over to it, then back to the group of Survivors, mentioning to both the things.
"And I thought I'd have a good night sleep and I think I hear death metal too."
*" So did I, God damn you people are going to get me killed. David do you have that map yet?" John brushes his hands off on his jeans and sighs.*

* " Oh wait you already showed it to me." John notices the flare and the gun shots " Fucking hell!" John looks over the edge to see if the zombies are dead. The last two had their skulls bashed in by a cement brick.

Suddenly gunshots and screams of infected are heard, but they stop, seems the house where the survivor ran is clear.
*The sound of thrash metal can be heard as the pickup rounds the corner and begins driving back up the street, The flatbed is piled with a myriad of items looted from nearby shops and buildings. The driver is a tall man in a leather trench coat with long hair. The trcuk swerves to crush an infected emerging from an ally before turning back into the middel of the road.* // giving you a chance to get its atencion this time.
*The flare slowly falls back down towards the street, the light it gives off falling and dimming. the gunfire has stopped, all that is heard is a last crackle as the last shot goes off and is filled by the screams and roars of the infected.*
Kane looks over the edge and count's the Zombies.
*Daniel goes to look over with Kane "A damn good lot of them over there aint it?" Says Daniel as he slowly gnaws on a peice of beef jerkey from his pocket.*
*The Pickup truck roars down the street and crushes the Zombies outside the safehouse and snaps and axel as it rides the gutter and grinds to a halt, The music falling silent. The driver slumped over the steering wheel*
*Daniel shouts "HEY YOU OKAY IN THERE!" while urging john over.*
* "Yeah, What is it?" John walks over to Daniel and looks over the street. He notices the crashed truck "Damn that would be a good raid right their."
Kane doesn't say a word and mentions the other's to go down stair's and check it out, but he first stop's by his room and get's his fireaxe.
* John turns around to notice that everyone is gone. He sighs and heads down the stairs to his room. He grabs his backpack from the bedside and then heads down stairs into the lobby. " So how we going to do this. I am up for ideas because we got a shitload of zombies out their. That music he was blaring will attract more of them so we need to hurry."
Kane looks around in the group of Survivor's and check's what weapons everyone has. He then looks out of the Window and check's the situation.
*The Pickups engine is silent and the driver is slowly coming round after the crash there are about a dozen infected milling around the pickup.*
The survivor can be seen in a window, yelling and calling zombies names, also saying interesting facts about their mothers. Then he empties his M1911, killing 3 zombies. At least some of them moved their interest onto him.

* David looks to John. "So, what now?"
* John stands their for a moment. "Alright. David you come with me, were going to get the guy in the truck. You and You." John points to Kane and Daniel "Your going to get that over survivor across the street." John looks around and then heads up stairs to the roof. He comes back down after a few minutes. He has a 2x4 in his hand with nails at the top "It's time to kill some zombies boys."
Kane nods.
*Daniel pulls the slide on his SIG 1911 positioning himself at the door "You ready" He says while pointing to Kane "I got one mag of spares."*
*The Zombies around the Pickup turn to it as the driver groans begining to come round, As he groans again the infected begin to moan and cluster around the pickup hammering at the windows and bodywork*
* John puts the 2x4 down and pushes the couch out of the way " Get ready boys." John picks up the nail board and makes sure his backpack is on tightly and is empty " Daniel go make sure the survivor is okay. Use any weapons you can find to kill those fuckers. Ill get the supply's in the back of his truck."
Kane nods to Daniel and get's ready, to rush trough.
*Daniel nods back and starts to tightly grip his handgun with both hands "First blood, how nice"*
* A very loud gun fire is heard followed be a zombie (that is trying to break his way into the truck driver's truck) get shot in the head.*
Me: The man brings the bolt on his sniper back. An empty .223 bullet flies out smoking.The man slams the bolt back in place and takes aim again. His stomach growls in hunger. He looks down at the ground for a second and takes a few breaths trying to make the pain go away. He goes back to his sniper. He looks through the scope and lines his scope on a zombie's chest. He takes a breath in and then exhales and gently strokes the trigger.

.// for fairness, it is a bolt action so it will take me some time to fire A shot but on turn side he has an okay supply of .223 rounds (bullets are cheap what can I say :P) but as the story goes on I'll try to balance it.
Meanwhile, a few blocks away...
The heavy wooden door had offered little solace for the past days, the initial screams of people being attacked fading away into deathly silence, or worse, the bone-chilling moan of the undead. The latter, of course, never stopped, the keening cries for flesh echoing through the solid door, mingling with the eerie percussion of hands thumping on wood.
Rachel had watched one or two films regarding the possibility of a zombie apocalypse; both times she had curled up next to a long-term and buried her head against his shoulder during the onslaught of blood. To be frank, she had little taste for violence, and if she was to be objective, she had little chance to survive.
The room she'd curled up in was the staff office, thankfully, and she was still managing to get by on her carefully rationed food - cereals, biscuits, water bottles had all helped her survive, and despite the chaos around her, somehow, she'd maintained her cool.
That was slipping, though, along with everything else. They'd finally started to damage the door's hingers, and deep down, she didn't know what she was going to do.
*As the Sniper round kills the zombie at the door the driver kicks the door open and clambers out of his truck blood dripping down his face from a gash on his head matting his long hair and weilding a pair of draper claw hammers whitch he brings to bare on the skull of the closest zombie before looking round his eyes wild and desprate waiting for the next infected to present a target.*
Kane rushes out with Daniel and runs to the other Survivor they should go to.
Me:*Brings the bolt back ejecting another smoking round. He takes out the mag and throws it on the couch. He takes out a new mag from his pocket and puts it in the gun and slams the bolt back in. He inspects the area hoping there is a clear passage for the driver to his apartment.*
* John rushes out the door behind Daniel. He takes off with David by his side. He notices a zombie shambling out of a ally way. He takes the 2x4 back and swings for the zombies head. The nails slam into the zombies head. It goes down with a groan.
*David shouts in excitement "Cool!"
* John pulls the 2x4 out of the zombies head and takes off for the truck again.
* David follows John.
Me:*Aims at another zombie that is making its way around the truck to attack the driver and fires. He brings the bolt back. An empty .223 shell flings out. He slams the bolt back into place. And looks at his surrondings. He see's a group of people with melee weapons that killed a zombie. He notices the group going towards the truck. He takes aim back at the truck and looks for a target getting close to the Driver.*
* John makes a break for the truck.
*The driver turns away from the Zombie that was just shot and buries both his hammers into the skull of the last standing infected before shouting "Grab the loot! Get it inside!" The back of the truck is piled high with boxes of junkfood stolen from a supermarket loading bay*

*Daniel starts to load the loot into the building whilst unloading several rounds into an infected's torso.*
* David helps with anything he can during the loading. Whether it's assisting in carrying or carrying lightweight stuff alone.
The survivor yells: "How about you help me guys, I've got ammo which I can't use, and zombies are getting inside !
Meanwhile, back at the farm...
Rachel continued to stare in horror at the door, the crack slowly widening, the stench of blood, guts, and rotting flesh drifting through the crack like a thick fog. It was almost nauseating, and the smell mixed with her own terrified emotions, causing her to double over on the floor, retching.
The inescapable fact of the matter was that they were coming. It might take a few hours, even a day, but they didn't stop, despite her hopes. They kept hitting that door weakly, each impact jolting it slightly, bodies bouncing off it, and the damage was visible, now. Eventually... She turned her head away, focusing on the walls. There had to be something! Regulations forbid anything remotely dangerous from being kept - guns were right out - and even something as simple as a hammer was out of reach.
And then, suddenly, she saw it. A cassette player - batteries still inside, and of course the tape would be there. Ten minutes later, with a roll of masking tape, a skateboard, and a small electric car, she gingerly opened the window. Despite the horde inside the building, somehow, the street was quiet - though it didn't help her in the slightest. Again, safety regulations forbid the window opening fully, but it was enough...
And ever so slowly, to the macabre sound of children's nursery rhymes, her contraption took off down the street, the music echoing with the moans by the door until she could hear it no longer.
God, how she hoped someone would hear it - would look...
*The Driver of the truck continues shouting as he clambers onto the back of his truck and begins to throw the boxes off the back to the others hammers still held in hand his hair matted with blood and his trenchcoat ripped*
Me: *The man curses for there being more people to cover but then looks at the loot. He freezes up and stomach begins to growl. He set's the sniper back up on the window and scans the area before he looks inside his scope. He takes aim and fires a shot at a zombie a few meters away. He misses and curses. He brings the bolt back and slams it back in. He breathes in and out to calm the hunger down. He takes aim again. He breathes in as he paints a zombie's chest with his crosshair and breathes out. As he breathes out he squeezes the trigger.*
(I continue to do this firing at the zombies just it isn't going to take care off all of the horde just going to be thinning or getting rid of zombies getting to close to a person.)
* John runs up to the other passengers side of the truck and takes a swing at a zombies head. The 2x4 slams into its head. While the other side of his head hits the passengers window. The window cracks and the zombie goes down with a gurgle and groan. John screams " TRY AND EAT ME NOW MOTHER FUCKER!"
He puts his foot against the door and pulls the 2x4 out of the zombies head. He runs back to the back of the truck and slides his backpack off onto the bed of the truck. He takes some of the junk food that has spilled out into the bed and stuffs it in his back.
* Daniel is soon confronted with 5 infected infront of him he pulls out his handgun to realize he has only 11 bullets left. He emptys 2 bullets into two seperate infected's heads and starts to use the gun as a club clobbering 2 untill he is tackled "Someone get this thing off of me!" He shouts as he is vicousldy swiping his knife at the neck of the infected that is on top of him"
ME: * Notices a guy being pounced by a zombie. He looks through the scope and aims at the zombie's back. He aims alittle bit up so when he fires, the bullet doesn't go through the zombie and kills the human. He exhales and taps the trigger slowly.*
*The driver stands atop his tuck cab and drapes a tow rope over his shoulder and look around pulling his hammers from his belt, and shouts at the suvivors on the street "Get inside now! leave the rest!" before turning to the building with the hidden sniper and bellows "Stay where ya are!" before jumping off his truck.
*David gets in.
A familiar children's song, slightly distorted from the wobbling skateboard that it's been placed on, is heard less than a block away. It's beginning to get louder.

* John hears the creepy song and looks around for it. Looking left and right as it gets louder and louder. He sees the skate board roll down the street. It slowly rolls down the street. John looks around for any infected and makes a run for the skateboard. He picks it up and then makes a break for the apartment building.
A small note is pinned to the tape player, hastily scrawled.
Help.
39 Eighth Avenue.
* As John rushes into the apartment building he still hears the music playing but on a different song.
( Clutch - Electric Worry )
* He sits the skateboard down and it rolls across the lobby still playing that creepy music. It hits the stairs and wobbles. John walks over to it and turns off the electric motor and picks up the note on it. He reads it over a few times, trying to remember the address. He puts the note on the counter. The door to the street is open as a zombie slowly shambles and stumbles in with groans. John quickly turns around as the zombie grabs his shoulders and tries to bit him.
(I totaly forgot to what Survivor I am running to xD)
Kane keeps running
*The truck driver steps into the building behind the infected and buries one of his hammers in its skull before it can bite John and wreches it out the door the claw of the hammer wedged in its head and throws it back into the street before slaming the door closed*
* John falls back onto the floor. His head slams against the ground and he grunts. John sits up and rubs his head. " fucking bastard zombie." John finale stands up and picks the 2x4 up, and is ready for battle again.
Back at the apartment...
*Daniel stays at the apartment, thinking the worst, that he's been left behind. "Dammit I never got onto the truck!" He mumbles to himself. "Maybe that sniper fellow is still up there" He starts heading up to the roof to say thanks for saving his life.*
Suddenly, from the apartament where the survivor was, the doors are bashed open, and then a guy gets out and starts to cut all of the zombies in their throats in a desperate attempt to kill them quickly. Then he makes a run-for it, sprinting in the direction of the safehouse.
ME: *The Sniper hears the truck driver shouting at his general direction and then see's the truck driver heading off. He sighs happy that he can help the survivors near the truck. He gets up and walks back inside the room. He turns the safety on his gun and throws the gun on the couch. He goes to his apartment door and walks inside the aisle. He checks the elevator to make sure if any zombies somehow got up and is satisfied that the elevator is still stuck at the ground level. He goes to the emergency exit and kicks the door alittle bit. The door doesn't move because it was welded to the frame. The man smiles that his defense hasn't been breached. He walks back to his room and looks through his fridge. The fridge is near empty. The only things left is a small can of sardines with two sardines left and a half empty water bottle. He takes one of the sardines and eats it slowly and then takes a gulp of his water. He pushes his couch a little bit forward up to the window so he can look outside and begins to fill the two empty mags with .223 bullets.
*Finds the snipers room and knocks on the door and waits for a response*
ME: *He hears the abrupt knocking. He quickly gets up and grabs his rifle. He slowly walks to the door with his rifle raised. He twisted the knob and then uses his foot to open the door.*
//I hope you know I'am not in the same apartment as the rest of the oup started in. I started in a different apartment lol.
* John looks over at the counter and picks the note back up. Re-reading it again and again.
// Is their anyone else in the starting apartment with me?

The survivor ran inside the apartment and is now getting the ammo he promised out of his backpack.
10 9x19 mm. 5 .223 boxes and 3 7.62x51 cartridges are taken out of his pockets on the jacket and his jeans.
"I heard few people with automatic weapons shooting, but they stopped then. Maybe it's the Military ?
Hope they'll send in some Apaches and Blackhawks for both extermination and exfiltration.
Does anybody have any .45, I'm sure you don't have other 9x19 weapons over here."

If I am now in your apartment, this is the scenario:
* Daniel notices the door opening "Hey, I never thanked you for saving my life back there" Daniel takes a can of alchohol out of his sweater pocket and takes a sip*
If im not in your apartment heres my scenario:
* Daniel keeps knocking on the door "No answer" He tries the doorknob and slowly opens it to find no one there. "Dammit the sniper must be in another apartment. Might as well get what I can from this room. Smells of death in here" Daniel finds nothing at the moment, Just spoiled milk and assorted vegetables in the refridgerator. But it sparks his mind that he hasnt looked under the bed. He goes to check. Something grabs his leg, rotted, ugly hands trying to pull him in. Screaming all kinds of curses, pulls out his knife and stabs the hand with such force, the hand is pinned to the floor. he flips up the matress to find an infected there, missing the bottom half of its body. He takes his pistol and sends the bullet flying through its skull and removes his knife and goes along his way.*
ME: *Opens the door to find no one in the aisle. Just some bags fell on the ground. The man sighs and goes back to the window*
*The truck driver leans on the door hooking his hammers into his belt (Starting apartment) and brushes the blood matted hair from his face before looking at the other suvivors and the pile of loot from his truck "Cheers fer the help, Names Jimmy"
** David looks at the driver, realizing how much has happened in just a few hours then he finally speaks. "My name is David. What about those who didn't come with us?"
** The man still is unpacking the ammo.

*John turns around and looks at all the people. The new guy, Jimmy, then to Daniel, then David. " Who are we missing?"

High pitched sobs pierce the disordered room as a lanky man braces against the door. Feeble arms from a sickly patient
in a hospital gown attempt to aid, but appear to do little; if anything at all. Unnerving moans enter into the room from
outside as a young nurse continues her weeping; rocking back and forth with her head buried in her arms. Shattering glass
is heard as a broad-shouldered man in surgical scrubs smashes a window at the end of the room. A chair exits a third story
hospital window among shards of glass; violently crashing on the curb below. The man in scrubs looks out of his "newly-
found" exit; observing the surroundings. He calls back as he begins stepping through the window, "Hey Dave, we can get down
from 'ere if we follow the
ledging." "What? Okay." The door pops inwards for a moment before being hastily slammed
back shut; Dave now using his back to press against it. Dave gripes, "Why doesn't this door lock?" as fresh groans echo
into the room, procuring a new wave of sobs from the grief-stricken nurse. "Dave, get something
te block the door,
then bring the patient with ya'." The burly man in scrubs steps back through the window towards the shaken nurse. As he
begins to approach her the door bursts open; throwing Dave and the patient backwards.
The old patient is quickly swarmed as Dave jumps to his feet, lurching forward in an attempt to aid the old man before
rapidly halting to sprint back towards the broken window. A hospital bed slides horizontally into two bloody figures as the
man in scrubs attempts to grab the frozen nurse. Loud shrieking and flailing comes from her the second contact is made. She
worms herself from the man's grasp as two blood-drenched hands make a solid grip around her ankles; pulling her towards the
door. The green-scrubbed man stares at the nurse for moment; grimacing, before bolting for the window; getting his front
leg through before a firm, bloody grip holds him back by the shoulder. Dave, now already through the window, pulls his
friend forward in an attempt to aid him, causing the green-scrubbed man to fall head first as he hastily grabs at the ledge. The
movement restricting hand is soon shown to be connected to a body as it follows the scrubbed man's trajectory out of the
window, but continuing forward into the open air infront with a piece of green scrubs to show for. Instead of staying
hanging on the ledge to watch, the man quickly stands himself. Dave helps his friend before commenting, "Would've been a
nice glide, eh Ivar?" "Yeah... thanks for the
help." They both chuckle slightly as they make their way across the
ledge.
The architect of the hospital most likely had some good sense for the need to be able to escape through windows, seeing as
this particular third-story ledge lead to the rear wall where the design on the building gradually provided large steps in
the form of jutting wall patterns. Every six feet dropped down to lead to another six feet of ledging. Providing a tedious,
though appreciated form of arriving to the even more appreciated ground. The two make it safely down before Ivar holds his
stomach for a moment, grimacing as he walks forward. "You doing all right there, Ivar, or do we need to go scale some more
walls?" Ivar stares menacingly for a moment before they both burst out laughing. The two quickly silence themselves as they
realize where they are; quickly observing their surroundings as they crouch down. Reminiscent of deer. Ivar whispers to
Dave as he approaches, "Dave... you worked on the ambulances before, right?" A terse nod answers. "Well you think you could
get us in one? We're right by the garage." Dave looks over, following Ivar's gesturing, responding with another terse nod.
Dave steps forward to the door leading to the garages, followed by Ivar who is looking around observantly. Dave looks back,
"We're going to have to break this window..." "Do we have any chair- there it is." Dave speaks in a loud whisper, "Wait...
the alarm is going to go off..." "Huh, what?" "Yes... I don't have keys... but I can see the key box from here for the
ambulances... you break the window... we both jump in... cover me or some crap and then I'll grab the keys, and we get out
of this place." Ivar responds with rapid and successive nodding as he fetches the chair.
A metal chair, oddly nostalgic, crashes through another hospital window among a shroud of glass. A large alarm sets
off as a two figures make their way through their new "window of salvation". Loud uproar is heard throughout the hospital
as clamoring feet begin making their way towards this new interesting place, filled with loud sounds and flying metal
chairs. Dave hastily runs towards the key box, looking around in panic as Ivar grabs a monkey wrench from a nearby toolbox.
The door to the hospital is seen to be closed as Dave opens the key box, looking at the numbered keys and quickly glancing
back at the available ambulances. He grabs one and heads back. Ivar hits the garage button for the door in front of the
selected vehicle; hopping in as soon as Dave opens it. They both take their seats.
Exuberant cheering comes from a blue and green ambulance as it makes its way through a now fully opened garage door;
its passengers slapping each other on the backs with approving and hearty yells of congratulations. A soft moan is
heard from the rear of the ambulance. The two men go silent, still on the hospital grounds heading for open road. Ivar
swings his monkey wrench back between the seats and lurches into the open "hallway" flailing his weapon as he yells tribal
incoherencies. Dave begins yelling as well for some unknown reason; perhaps the tension gets to him, as he continues
driving, though now a good twenty miles per hour faster. Several not-so-well-placed monkey wrench hits connect with a now
limp figure. Its skull slightly caved in as it moans ever softer. Ivar grimaces with a look of shock in his eyes. Several
seconds later a corpse is thrown out of the back of a speeding ambulance; making beautiful road art as it leaves bright red
paint strokes.
"39 on Eighth" "Yes." "But why?" "Because Jenny and Mark should've been working there when things went down the
crapper." "That means they're probably dead." Ivar gives Dave a disapproving frown. "Just go there, we're going to need
some more people if we want to set up a shelter." "Fine, whatever... if my brains get eaten it's your fault." "Yeah,
because I'll probably be eating them
maself." "Dave looks at Ivar for a moment before looking back at the road.
"It's a few blocks down from the grocery store anyway..." "And my house" "We can head over to both afterward." The
ambulance makes its way across the high way, unsettingly deserted. It pulls off on an exit; making its way to the desired
destination before slowing to a halt. Dave looks out the window. "This is dumb." "There's nothing outside, ya' baby."
"Well! I
know there's some dang things outside... I just can't see'em yet." "Grab that gas lock or whatever the heck
that is, then lets move quickly." Ivar steps out of the ambulance, wielding his monkey wrench as he makes his way to the
building infront of them. Dave gets out, carrying the gas-to-wheel lock oddly as he follows Ivar. "...It's too quiet..."
Ivar ignores Dave's comment as he opens the door to building 39. A terse question echos through the building.
"Mark, Jenny?"

*" I guess we can go to the liqour store. It should have some food there, even if it's only junk" Daniel hands 5 rounds to Maciej "Its got booze too. Nothin' better cheers people up in these dark times"
**A man walks by armed with only a machete, and a bat**
**He is wearing Cargo pants, tucked into Combat boots, A tank-top shirt with a jacket and a balaclava two eyed**
*"Hey you there get over here." Daniel gestures to the man with the machete*
Kane sit's down onto a chair and check's his equipment and looks at the new guy.
*Daniel stares at the man "You got a name boy? Pretty nice baseball bat you got there." Daniel gestures to the bat. "Did you play back before all this crazy shit?"*
*Walks over* Yea, I used to play, best hitter on my team, My names Jason Norris. *Looks at his bat and taps it against his shoe*
* Daniel makes a gesture of a batter swinging a bat "Thats a damn useful skill there. Im sure you can hit a couple of home runs on the heads of those bastards." Daniel lets out a slight chuckle and takes a slice of beef jerky from his pocket and starts to gnaw on it. "You've got a legendary last name there Jason. Norris, Walker Texas Ranger, one of my favorite shows since I was but a boy, not that that's been to long ago."

yea , if someone with a few good ideas wouldn't mind starting us out , (new thread?) id take part in this .
I have a couple ideas that no one has mentioned yet so here , let me shoot the breeze for a sec -
-small town (some what rural)
- no crazy spec ops 1337 heat-seeking uber launchers (reasonable/common weapons)
-Why not start us out as if we were entering the town to get away from highly populated areas like stuck at a military check point right before the town. (so we could have people who are from the city life an the small town locals) an idk well were waiting to get through the infected reach the check-point an send it into chaos . (since it would be people in there vehicles that would have to leave on foot we wouldn't be crazy prepared ether)
- I would need someone with talent to create a town map with maybe some , homes , family owned shops , school , small police station , the military check-point , a small office building for some business , a super-market , roads with abandon cars we could check for supplies an fuel or something .
even if you have some ideas to add to what i have so far post em im curious to see what we come up with , we should keep this thread untill the majority decide on what we should do . maybe even start a poll of some possible settings ?
I like a few of those ideas and the common weapons was a rule from the start and rural towns I don't believe is a good idea as lower population = less zombies. I understand that role-play is passive but a common staple of keeping people interested is action.

ok now where getting somewhere , ill speak in character when we deicide on what setting we want so we can make a new-thread so we have a clean slate so i can even create my character lol.

would you like me to start one with "Poland" as the setting ? or would you like to go into further detail like a "shore side village" or "city" ?
City gives more options and RP, I'll manage the events, because I know the current equipment of Polish Military. Consider Military stirring shit up in the city. Contact me for Polish names, if you want to RP a Pole.
