QuotePossible Combinations:

Good

Lawful Good - A genuine "goody two shoes". Lawful good people are often found in law enforcement, or tattling to them.

Neutral Good - Theoretically, the purest form of good. They will help others in need and follow their principles, regardless of whether it is lawful or not. At the same time, they will not go out of their way to enforce or break the law.

Chaotic Good - A "Robin Hood" type. Chaotic good means you do what you think is right, but it usually isn't right by the authorities. A very rebellious but good-natured individual.

QuoteNeutral

Lawful Neutral - Kind of a "nobody". Lawful neutral people are like most commoners; drifting through society, following the law, and not going out of their way to do anything.

True Neutral - A lazy, selfish person who does not want to get involved in anything unless there is some incentive. True neutral people will protest before going out of their way to do anything and their actions are guided by their own self-interest. As such, True Neutral people are usually easily motivated by threats, coercion, and money. AI programs are often this alignment, because they are not typically influenced by emotions or a set of principles; they seek to ensure their survival and promote their strong utilitarian beliefs, reason, and logic.

Chaotic Neutral - Almost an evil kind of person. They break the law, and are on nobody's side but their own. Pretty much a "Rogue" type of character.

QuoteEvil

Lawful Evil - A despicable person who often hides behind the law and manipulates people to further his goals. These people aren't usually guilty of anything evil other than being total assholes. Alternatively, Lawful Evil people can be involved in self-righteous groups of deluded people that only follow their own laws, such as a cult.

Neutral Evil - A very selfish and evil person. These people will do evil for their own personal gain, and nobody else's. They follow nobody but themselves. A mercenary or hitman could be described as neutral evil.

Chaotic Evil - Evil to the point of being psychotic. These people don't care at all about following laws or rules, and always go out of their way to break them. All the while, they are doing their best to be evil and nasty. Usually, Chaotic Evil people are psychotic anarchists. A mass murderer or a terrorist would fit this description.
