Biography: The Minun People are inclined to be scientists and traders. Most Minun are White-pale skinned and have bright white hair. They have an extra "shield" that covers there eyes , somewhat like a reptile would have. It gives there Eyes a Purplish tint. But there eyes also have a higher sensitivity to light, which makes them commonly seen with tinted goggles on. Besides most of their kind becoming scientist they are also Traders. They go from planet to planet, sometimes out of the galaxy. Minun look like Humans but are recognizable apart. The Minun have what they call Mun-Plumes, but on human terms they're gills. The Mun-Plumes are behind their ears, and are usually hard to see from the long hair that most Minun People have. They also have feet that resemble hoofs, but they hide them behind the cover of their shoes which are customized for each Minun as the size of their hooves differentiate.
Tel-Deku 8, the most Minun populated planet is a snowy and cold planet. The Minun are attracted to this planet because it is the same color as their skin. They live in Cabins which they like to call each of them Factions, mainly because almost every family is of a huge size. Most of the Factions are large and the walls are double layered with logs to sustain heat without using to much resources. Most of the Factions also have Basements the size of bunkers. Because most Minun are Scientists and traders they need large places to store things and large areas to test and create. Most family's are split in-half between traders and scientists.
The Minun government is very efficient. Most people don't even have to go to work or have a boss because there work is at their homes, which make it easy to have a family business. The Scientists invent weapons , ships , robots , computers and many other things. While the traders take the scientists inventions and sell the invention that they made. Even though Minun's often stay in their houses they are very social people. In fact they cant stand not having someone to talk too.
That's how Andrea's story started, she had no one to talk too. Andreas family was small compared to most other family's. And there faction was probably the oldest in there area. Andrea had many sisters and brothers, and also many Doyens (A brother or sister but from a different parent). Andrea's family were almost all scientists, in fact there were only 2 traders in her entire family tree, that consisted of a large amount. But she planned on being a trader and most of her Siblings and Doyens didn't like her because of what she chose. Most of them often tried to talk her into becoming a Scientist like the rest of them. But she didn't listen. Because of this she was lonely. The only person who would accompany her was her Duke, Gand (Uncle). He was a part of the Minun Police force which was an uncommon job because most family's focused on there business and were often never breaking any laws, But it did happen occasionally. He'd often take Andrea to work and show how to do his job. She became extremely fascinated with what he did and would often just let him talk and listen to his teachings. He even took her down to the firing range and showed her how to use a Variable Disruptor, which quickly became a dangerous fire arm when placed in her hands. Then her Duke died when he was investigating a case on someone stealing blue prints. He was shot twice with an Multi-Load SCREAMER. Which had obliterated his Corpse and his Desk (Thin Portable laptop) leaving no evidence of who he was after.
They let her inherit Gand's belongings. Gand was also an Outcast like Andrea and often wasn't noticed by the rest of the family so none of them minded. Andrea Attended his quiet funeral with only a couple people attending. Most were people from his work.
She was sick of it. The family barely noticed Gands death and she was done with her family. She was of age to leave so she got it in her head that she was going to leave as soon as possible. She had it all planned out. There was a trade vessel leaving soon and she knew that it was her chance. She packed clothes and some of Gands things like his old Desk and a Variable Disruptor. She also asked a favor from the Chief of Police if she could make her a badge. The chief was very close to Gand and knew Andrea very well and understood what she felt like. So she did. Andrea knew that the Chief of Police (Who was a woman) Loved Gand, And Gand loved her back. She could sense it between them, she also sensed how bad she was hurt so she stayed with her for the last night she was going to probably ever be on Tal-Deku 8 again. She went home in the morning and no one even noticed she was gone. She left a note in her room, saying how the family was unfair to not even go to a family members funeral, and how she was done with her past life and that shed never be back. She boarded the Trading Vessel and paid them a large amount of Jun (Minun Currency) to have a room on the ship. She told them that she'd get off at the first planet they got to.
It was a long voyage they told her. She didn't mind, she told them that she'd learn there trade as she was on the voyage. She kept her word and she learned the trade well, she later found out that the people aboard were highly skilled traders. She also found out they traded strange weapons. They were dangerous but also not practical she wondered why they were even trading them. She asked one of the people on the ship why they were selling them. They said they made a somewhat good thing to trade with when you traded it for rare ores. They also said it was almost like ripping the people off.
It was her last day on the ship and she was actually excited that she was going to meet knew people and hopefully start a business of her own. She got her belongings together. The ships captain could be heard on the Microphones "Docking in 10 Minutes." She was filled with excitement. She was putting things in her bags when she noticed something shiny. She grabbed it, It was the Officers badge. She pinned it to her Coat, thinking maybe the people here will give respect if she had it on. She holstered the Variable Disruptor to her side. She put on her Backpack and Grabbed her duffel bag. The captain could be heard again "Docking in 20 Seconds". She went to the Main bay and sat next to the Docking door. The microphones Blurted " Okay...we've landed safe. Starting Depressurization". She could feel air coming through the vent. It was warm. The doors hissed one last time and then they slid open. The light Was bright and she put on her tinted goggles. She waited for her eyes to adjust as she walked out onto the docking station.
She looked around. She'd never seen anything like it. It was brown, everywhere. A total change from white being everywhere. She just looked around for almost 10 minutes, looking at every horizon. Nothing. She saw nothing. She asked one of the men that was bringing a crate down the ramp what the planet was called, " Desertia, its hot here. All sand, not much to look at. Though the Resources here are pretty good. Its under all this brown stuff is where you get what we want". The man walked off with the crate. She got out her Analytic Sensory PDA and scanned the area. The closest Buildings were 249 Miles out. She Asked if she could buy any vehicles they had. She Bought a Wave Board. A Non-Fueled Hover board that could go up to 60 MPH Maxed. It was Light and You could Fold it down to the size of a binder. She attached her PDA to the Wave Board and set coordinates to the closest Town. She adjusted her Goggles and rapped a scarf around her mouth to keep sand out.
There it was. It was coming in sight of the Horizon. Stucco houses and Walls. Not much too look at. But it was her home now and she did see some people walking around outside so it was Inhabited. Now to find a place to stay.
