Title: Using a minecraft model as a skin template
Post by: Silver Knight on 02-07-2011
Crazy idea but one that would solve issues at the expense of loosing graphical input: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=122702 (http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=122702) Aka using that model and setting a skin over it instead of hundreds of models, so in a sense, like minecraft we could have unlimited skins  which are easily set with no lag\issues. For crussaria.

Example would be putting on a suit would change the texture of the model. The texture is small in file size so we could have a huge amount of skins available as suits and default skins for models.

Idea is nice, but the minecraft model wouldn't be taken seriously.
