The Black Bellamy

"We be sailin' m'old Bellamy by tonight lads," Captain Jack Bellamy said as he raised the sails of the broad wooden boat, accompanied by two other pirates. Some complaints were made from the other pirates due to the harsh weather, heavy rain, but they followed through with orders. "Ready 'er fins!" He continued on, pointing his wooden staff toward the back of the ship. Three pirates rushed to the back, adjusting the boat's rear fins. Captain Jack Bellamy had then walked up to the helm, clutching the pegs of the wheel. He grunted, before yelling out to the whole crew, "Cannons ready, and then we set sail!" The crew threw their arms up, shouting in joy. They then went to the lower section of the ship, opening the cannon hatches. They pushed the fronts of the cannons out of the boat-- they being barely visible. Then the whole crew broke up, into threes, mounted on each cannon, two men assembling the cannon, whilst one would load cannon balls. The captain then shouted "We sail now," and the boat kicked away from the old dock. Waves beat up against the sides during their journey, and they soon encountered two other fleets, unsure of what to do at first. They thought they heard thunder, but really the two other ships had opened fire on theirs. They soon noticed when some of the lower section of the ship flooded with water, and so they returned fire.. "BOOM!" Cannon balls ripped through the sides of the two other ships, the weak one sinking immediately. The other ship had slumped over to the side slightly, but was still 'alive'. Captain Jack Bellamy's crew fired another array of cannon balls at the other ship-- obviously it met the ocean floor. The crew cheered, before sailing onward. They continued to fend off enemy ships, before they soon found pleasure in destroying ships. The captain and his crew now sail the seas, blowing any ship in sight to small planks of wood.

In shortened description, The Black Bellamy are a gang of pirates whom only seek to destroy any ships other than theirs. They however can be friendly to some, if approached in a more mannered way. They've currently docked on the beach, and their dockers have no clue of their committed crimes.

Birth of The Black Bellamy
T'was a pleasant day-- clear sky, bright sun. Jack Bellamy, a boy at the young age of fifteen, and his already old father Christian Bellamy, had decided to strafe the beach a bit, and scavenge around for little scraps of what they would call treasure, but really what they scrapped up was bits and pieces of sunken ship that had washed ashore. Now this activity was very favored among the two, for a single reason. They had found a crumbled map in a rum bottle their first time scavenging, leading the directions to the so called 'Ship of Black Bellamy'. Now, as these two inherited the last name of Bellamy, they found it quite surprising, and had the idea that it was a boat of an ancestor. The downside of this factor was that they had absolutely no way of across-water transportation, and were currently empty-pocketed, so they couldn't purchase one from the boat bidding anytime soon.

Now to get back on track, they spotted a small paddle boat near the end of the beach, and rushed to it. The two discovered it was slightly damaged, but they thought they might have the abilities to take it back to their shack, and fix it up. Jack took the front end, whilst his father took the rear end, and they slowly carried it up from the beach, onto the weak soil. Both of them continued on, until they finally reached their destination, gently placing it on the ground. The two conversed for awhile, "Father.. how would we be able to repair it?" And the father replied, "Jack, I could possibly 'collect' some wood from the market, as it is always laid out on the trader's table." Jacked nodded, before his father tucked him in to bed.

The boy woke up to find his father missing, so he simply thought his father went to get the planks. So he sat in his bed all morning, playing with some old wooden toys. It was about noon, when suddenly the door flew open to the shack, and his father was holding a good amount of planks in his hands. He shouted, "Gather all you can, and follow me, Jack!" Jack didn't hesitate, nor did he question, and flew out of bed, piling up all of his toys, some food, various dishes, and forks in his arms. His father on the other hand placed the planks in the boat, along with a blanket or two. He then hoisted the small paddle boat over his shoulders, running out. Jack followed behind him, wobbling slightly. In the distance, shouting was heard, and the clanking of heavy armor was getting closer and closer.

The two ran into the woods; Jack could barely keep up with his father. The two spotted a cave, and hauled themselves into it without any worry. His father knelt, gently placing the paddle boat down. Jack released all the items onto the cave floor, looking into the darkness that awaits deeper in the cave. He kept an eye on that for the rest of the night, and then he dozed off.  Jack woke up from his father shaking him, whispering, "I've fixed the boat, Jackie." Jack smiled, pushing himself up. His father then led Jack out without another word, and placed the boat in the water slightly. He then piled the supplies into the boat, and Jack hopped in. "I also managed to snag some paddles, because what is a paddle boat without paddles?" Jack chuckled to his father, and then his father hopped in. The paddled off into the distance.

Days passed, whilst Jack's father would glance at the map every now and then. He made sure they were going the right way, and tried to keep up with conversation, to get their minds off of sea-sickness. On the seventh day, they washed upon a woodsy island. They hopped off the small boat with their supplies; Christian in the lead with the map, guiding him and his son. "According to this map.. we're almost there, Jack." Jack smiled, before asking, "Are we going to become pirates, dad?" His father made a quick response, "What do you think? This boat was used by pirates, so why shouldn't we become pirates ourselves?" Jack shivered in excitement. Through the thick foliage, they could spot out a shape of a large ship. They raised their traveling speed, and soon arrived to the huge boat. It seemed to be docked on a nearly-destroyed docking bridge, but if they untangled the rope quick enough and hopped aboard, they wouldn't have to touch a drip of water. They quickly decided to rush across the dock bridge, and loosen the rope. Jack hopped on to the large ship quickly, and his father came behind him. Jack then walked up to the helm, and his father worked on raising the sails. "Jack," His father said, "Will you be the Captain of The Black Bellamy?" Jack shouted back, "YES!" Jack then placed his hands on the pegs of the wheel, and his father said he could steer out. The boat slowly shifted forward, and they soon met flat sea.

The two lived off of the brought supplies for awhile-- bread, tea, and meat, but they had to especially ration the meat. They later found out that there were cannons in the bottom floor, along with cannon balls. They test fired a couple of times, awed by this amazing boat. They returned to their hometown after ten years, the other times they docked their boats at nearest settlements to refill their cache of food. When they reached their hometown, everything was different. Where their shack had been, there was now a guard tower, and behind that tower was a squared wall of stone, protecting taverns, inns, and small structures. The man running the dock was in need of payment to dock the boat, and so they paid the man using some of the golden coins that were found in the lower deck of the ship. They then vacated the boat, purchasing a nice, cozy home. They settled there for awhile, and searched for men to join The Black Bellamy crew.

Hey, Crusader.  You need to shape up your character abilitys a notch.  Jumping out of windows isnt going to be your everyday thing that your used to doing, especially when you're going round starting trouble with the Militia.  Try and be more realistic with your character a little.  Apart from that, your faction looks intresting enough so try it out.  BUT I do not advise applications over the forums.  Somthing like this should be done entirely IC if anything.  Anyhow, intresting faction.

I am glad you take interest in my faction. The whole window thing was a bit overboard, I agree. At that moment though, I thought my character was going to get killed, and I had just put up all the information on the forums. I really didn't want to lose him that soon.

Its fine, but death wouldnt had been a PK.  Besides we only planned to put you in a stockaid for all to see.  Apart from that I advise you not do that again, otherwise you'll be punished.   Also, I advise you look into Zstans post a little.  Though hes not very intrested he could mean in a number of ways.

1. Could be the layout of the origional post.
2. Could be the fact there is no colour.
3. You might be right, but this happens alot. (People are lazy, you just have to push them a little to get things started.)

Try asking Zstan what he finds boring so you can fix the post.

Have no fear, the Militia will protect you.
Besides, if the group becomes out of control I'll personally crack down on it.  Xins got some nice events planned also for you guys.

Honestly, we need some sort of conflicting faction/group in the game, and really, what else is there other than thieves, murderers, and demons? I hate that ther isnt really anything else, but all the admins are completely open to opinions for groups and factions, or even better, a good conflict.

Isn't Crusader like permabanned from HGN? And the servers?

Paintcheck

Think it was just a forum ban but if you notice the date this was posted it was before he was forum banned.

Odds are he's not going to play any more though so maybe this should get scrapyarded.
