The move could help bring the number of subscribers up past peak levels. Last year publisher-developer Blizzard Entertainment announced worldwide subscribers for the game stood at an all-time high of 12m, while in March 2011 this had fallen to 11.4m.

I said it last week and shit it's happened. The age of F2P is here, even if it's limited to a capped level 20.
