Hold CTRL or Z to attack with the hammer / bat / bat + nails / axe
To find food go in houses, click a fridge / cupboard / etc.

They're going to fix combat in the full-release game. For now, don't aim at the zombie. Try to swing your mouse.
I officially win at that game... I got all of this food, 100 shells 20 wood and went to the 6th floor of a house (barricaded the bottom floors and put portable barricades at first two floors) and survived for 25 days, then got bored and went on a killing spree, used all 102 shells and killed so many zombies. Ended up surviving for 26 days and 4 hours. (minimized game for break some times). I cannot wait for curtains and player skills. I just hope they add survivors with you, and more items (Guns,food,Mele,armor,medical, and etc.) I LOVE DA GAME TOO MUCH.
I read up a little, aren't you suppose to buy one of the companies other games to be able to play this or something?

I played this game, got to about day 5 without even getting touched once and racked up a shitload of food and supplies in my safehouse.
I got bored on how easy it was so I exitted out of the game.

It's only in alpha... they will add more guns or recipes or events... More things to keep that mind occupied.
I know, but all you really need to do is loot the warehouse and stack up on food from the grocery store. Or thats what I know :/
