I found it quite disappointing, when you couldn't pick a side.
It was too linear.

I was amazed by the nazi battle against the other faction. Forgot their name but got more dissapointed after I found out that you couldn't join any side.

I felt constrained, but I found it was an amazing experience the first time, and I find myself going back to it and finding new little details every time. I never thought you could skip over so many details in a linear game such as this.

I'm hoping the next game (confirmed) will be a bit more open.

Story was shitty, rather than keeping it at least a bit realistic, they made it fantasy-like (anomalies, ghosts). They should try to base off more from the book.
Gameplay was very good, and I agree with Jake, too linear.

I got the "bad" ending, I know the dark ones were just trying to communicate but, I don't see how blowing up mutants is a bad thing...

If you have read the book, you know that dark ones are good...not bad.

I kill ugly things. It's in my nature. I couldn't care less if they were trying to cure cancer, they were fucking scary and they tried to kill me. I guess. Maybe.
