Dwarf Fortress!

So yeah I've been playing Dwarf Fortress for quite a while and a new version was released lately. I was wondering if anyone here plays it. Also share some stories.



I recently started a fortress and while bored and waiting for my stupid dwarves to do useful things I had a look at their food: "Oyster cookies with well minced WHISKEY" Ohh the crazy randomness of DF. I once had my brave warriors jump off a bridge to fight a Dragon. A shame they all broke their legs and became dwarven toast.


If you haven't tried it out I suggest you do that. The UI is a bit uhh.... Difficult though, and it's damn complicated but yet so rewarding.

Shush RagMcUrist. I once also had a huge fortress with amazing amounts of gold everywhere. I became super rich but then one beautiful day a MASSIVE goblin army invaded. I mean 7 trolls and 50 goblins and all I had were like 6 warriors with little to no experience. God that sucked ass.... But then again "Losing is Fun!"

Yep already downloaded Maydays earlier and started playing, the game is pretty complex, took me like a hour to set up the start with a tutorial lol
