Lol I remember 1942.. I played the shit out of that game, I always sat inside the destroyed city inside one of these little buildings and would always run up on a tank and try and pwn it.

No mod tools though... Let's face it, battlefield games where only ever good because of the mod communities of BF1942, vietnam and BF2.
Has some interesting features though, may actually be worth a look. Though a similar cover to BC2 kind of puts me off.

From their point of view it isn't. Console users can't mod so it's not worth them spending the time to make mod tools when over 75% of the population of the game couldn't use them. Plus it means they can charge for DLC and shit like that since there are no mods giving content for free.

I think the days of hardcore modable games are close to over. Other than Valve's catalog I cannot think of a recent triple A title that had mod support short of a map editor.

I think the teamwork will be far better on the pc. I've tested both and it's evident to me for reasons unknown that players on the computer have better teamwork even gamespot did a survey on it and computer won by far for teamwork. Due even this, I have to buy it on console. Due to the lameocity of my computer and that Ive been using consoles for the greater part of my life.

I think the teamwork in Bad Company 2 is fine, medics do their actual job and people don't all go /sniper.
So, I think it will work out here as well.

Whenever I play BC2 I am always stuck on the team with 8 snipers. Drives me up a fucking wall.

90% of the times I play most people go medic or assault, I also always have a nice bunch of engineers that repair my tank/APC/helicopter.

Seriously, don't make me laugh, there is a serious lack of teamplay in BC2 just as there is most vanilla BF games. Reviving someone because you get points isn't teamplay.
