Not really if you look at the circumstances. (Amount of troops, equipment etc.) Finland had less troops, poor training (Though so did the Soviets), less tanks, less airplanes, outdated equipment and almost no motorized transportation. What we had was a decent terrain, decent artillery and German air support.

German air support wasn't constant, and we managed to fight the Soviets off with SEVERELY outdated planes.

Our equipment was outdated mostly and the russians had larger amounts.

Transporting artillery was a pain in the ass without mechanized transports.

Most of the finnish equipment was finnish though... Only some tanks or rather assault guns were german plus of course the airplanes. Though some of them were also british. The best equipment we had on the frontline excluding the "Suomi-konepistooli" SMG was captured from the russians during the Winter war.

Also the Soviet Union had almost twice the amount of soldiers compared to the Finnish and German troops combined and god knows how much more tanks etc. And the German airsupport mentioned above was only here for a few months.

The last battle in here was at Tali-Ihantala where we stopped the entire division before it attacked by pounding it with every single artillery piece we had and I believe the line of airplanes that went to bomb the same spot was 30km long

That's what I got from Wikipedia anyways, though in finnish.

And what goes for GERMAN STEEL!!! We only had assault guns and some aircrafts from them. Nothing more, nothing less.

What sort of equipment are we talking about here? The only German equipment I can think of off the top of my head are the Panzerfausts.
