Eve basically TOOK everything from this, even the wonderful taste in music. Battle Systems are almost the same, and you can even get out of your ship when you dock later on. Now, you can drive jeeps ( pigs, they call them ), tanks, etc,  but the space was a big part that EVE blatantly copied.
