We currently have many of the maps in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Universe that's relatively canon to the game, however one such map we require to have a functional zone is the Cordon, this is something we should have accomplished years ago however due to hammer/source limitations it was never the part of the zone that could be focused on due to the scale of the cordon and how relatively empty it was, often or not we would squish concepts of maps into one single map.

Our new approach with S.T.A.L.K.E.R is to have multi-servers, where you travel between the different parts of the zone, jumping between maps.

With the Cordon, this will be the primary starting point for new s.t.a.l.k.e.rs

Current featured locations:

Military checkpoint ( Starting point into the zone )
Cordon Village ( Features trader bunker and the two smaller underground cellars )
Stalker trash anomaly ( Adjacent to the stalker village )
Stalker carpark ( vehicle deport )

Warehouse/mill ( next to train crashsite )
Train crashsite
Train underpass alternative route
Dark Valley Tunnel offset north of vehicle deport

Alpha V2 Planned:
Barn houses
2 buildings offset to the right of the train crashsite
Checkpoint to the Garbage

Looking good so far! How many servers do you plan to have up at one time, and are you at all worried that this might lead to splitting the player-base too much?
