Binoculars?

The stalker series had them. It would cool to zoom in on people to get a look at them from a station or outpost. Maybe even make a special version that shows what the guy you aim it on is saying.

Well, there is the zoom feature from Half Life 2.
I would assume most people use it when they need it.

I just use the suit zoom (default I believe is Z, check your keybindings) and RP pulling out binocs when I do. Works great.

We got +zoom, maybe it's enough.

Binoculars would be very good for faction members and other stalkers so I say silver should make a swep or something

Just use +zoom and RP having binoculars. There is no reason to make it an item. Frankly I was a little annoyed the flashlight got made an item.

I agree wiv paint, in-cannon everyone every fucking where has a flashlight.

I also agree with paint, the flashlight wasn't an item in the Stalker games so it wasn't really necessary to put it as an item into SRP. Same goes for binoculars, they're permanently equipped, not buyable, can't sell them, can't get rid of them; same for the PDA too.

I've done this alot when I was on SRP.

Could even;

bind ALT "+zoom; say /me takes a peek through his binnoculars"
