To all who receive this message.

LEAVE THE ZONE IMMEDIATELY.

The drug has gotten out, someone is making crude copies of it somewhere inside the Zone. The drug causes more side effects than we have gathered...
We have studied the usual side effects, like usual sickness effects (like nausea, diarrhea, fever, reported headaches) and sometimes even death.

The crude copies that they are making, they are contaminated. We don't know how, but the drug seems to cause a severe mental breakdown. It makes you almost like the Monolith, insane, crazy, and bloodthirsty.
We're calling it...

THE CHERNOBYL SYNDROME

Stay away from infected persons. Just leave, now. We're getting a truck ready right now. The Military has been alerted of this, it must. Be. Contained.

Get out safely.

Sincerely,

#*5h*f)(c

Incoming Message!
From: BioCorp Headquarters
Opening....

Dear BioCorp Employee/Associate

The drug known as "Drainage" (We're beginning to call it Chrosomithone/CHO3 now) effects the user into insanity, and makes certain changes in the specimen. Heightened strength and agility come at the cost of mental stability. Specimens often go insane, or die on the spot.
Now, onto the bigger news.
The drugs contents are evolving into a deadly virus. CHO3 now invades the users nerves, and essentially overrides the brain. The micro-organisms then infect the neuro-system, making the specimen almost like a zombie. Their physical appearance is not affected, but they slowly become less functioning. Large amounts of saliva is generated, accompanied by often drooling. The infected become insane, and become feral, attacking anything that moves. These are not like normal zombies affected by radiation. They are more intelligent, stronger, and agile.
Beware of them. Report any escapes from the lab to a Bio-Corp Associate.

-BioCorp - A better future, one cell at a time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC

Basically, what happened is this:

An unknown third party was testing a new experimental drug inside the zone. Their reasons for doing so were unclear, and what the drug was supposed to do was unknown.
Somebody learned of this, and stole some from the lab. He tried out the drug on an unsuspecting STALKER, injecting it in his neck. The STALKER violently reacted to the drug, puking everywhere. He went on a rampage, yelling and hitting people, until someone put him down with a bullet.

An evil plan formed in the man's mind.
He began to reproduce the drug. However, he did not know some of the things used to make it. Instead, he used artifacts to help in the production. The drug was contaminated, and had some increased side effects. The people injected with the drug went mentally ill, on the brink of insanity and crazyness.
The drug became known as...
"Drainage."

Many nicknames came with it. The "Drain of Brain", "Brown Pipe" or "The Bane of Sanity".

He began advertising the new formulated drug as "the wonder drug." Making all of your problems and the zone disappear. It made you feel better, it lifted your spirits high, it gave you new strength.

Many people were fooled by this, and many people were affected, their brains tormented and troubled.

---

Now, the drug has made it's way to OUR part of the zone.

What say you, HGN? Will "Drainage" affect the STALKERs around us?

This could be a great idea, because it could help RP a ton, and create some individual characters and situations.

I think this would be great.
Military would have to do a lot of work , so would Duty.
I would see lots of shooting but lots of rping.
Lets say all major factions get some special suits so the virus wouldn't infect them.
Gas mask? Or something else idk. xD
Would be awesome tough.

It's caused by a drug, therefore not contagious.

Just got around to reading this today *new member away!* and I like the idea, we're allowed to RP this out at our own discretion, or must we wait for a set even time? (yeah I know the thread is old, but bump because I love this idea)
