STK fights,only with no GR return?

Yesterday,on the server a admin wanted to do a event,simple STK between monolith and mercs/stalkers.
But oh well-another admin showed up,and told us STK fights can be only with no GR return.
Even with NPCs.
He told us on srp there is no such a thing like Gear Return.
My opinion on that?
Its a huge bullshit.If there will be this rule-there will be lack of events,or they will be here, but stalkers wont join them because of this GR rule.

We were arguing-like the GR can be there,depends on the admin decide,or if both "parties" agree on it.
Didnt worked.

I really think this should be changed.

Yes,I understand but imagine if there was a fight between..DUTY and monolith,and both of the would like to fight with Gear Return-but they just cant.

Thats not what I mean.
The problem is,when both parties actually wants Gear Return-they just cant do that.
If only one "group" agrees on gear return-and the other "group" wont want it,it will be automatically no GR.

and knife, i have allways been told that BOTH sides have to agree "no GR", if other side doesnt agree, its just GR... Well rules can been changed since past 2 months

This is just my thought. If admins say no gear return, the rule should be NO GEAR RETURN for everything.

You guys know it's a rule right? Gear return is not allowed unless an SV says it's okay, and only for a genuine reason eg. like a crash mid fight.

GR dosent exists get fucking used to it! You loose your gun? Go buy anouther that way traders have enough fucking money to give you a job so you get some good RP and a reward.

The removal of GR was to stimulate the economy.

Stop bitching about it your gear is easy to replace stop holding onto it like its your last functioning testical!

I just think everything with no GR rule is just..bad idea,Of couse I agree in most "actions" or "situactions" there should be no GR.But these examples-There should be gear return if the "arena master" decides.
It shouldnt be only up to Nitro.But the players.

Arena with no GR.
Events with no GR.
Faction wars only with no GR..uhh

Its just that you cant decide if you want GR or no GR-its forced.

It theoretically stimulates economy, but nearly everyone is afraid of losing gear in a fight , so practically nothing's happening (or I'm never on for even a single fight), no gear is lost, it doesn't work. It'd be better if bloodsuckers would be encouraged to hunt for stalkers without GR, although that would create another problem, people would sit all day in the base. But I'm sure somebody would go out then a bloodsucker would kill him.

Every weapon can kill, theres both a benefit and theres a negative thing about no GR. If you're having an expensive gun, just deal with it - Such is life in the zone. No GR is realistic, I mean - Every weapon can kill, no matter if you're having an AK74U or Groza. And its not hard to get money, attend to events, and you will get rich fast.
