Hey boys and girls :)


Im a big fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series and also a passionate mapper :)


So i decided to recreate the maps from SoC in Source. Im already finished with the village where you start in the original game.
I will post screenshots later :D Just wanna see what you all think about my work. see ya!

hmm, the road  doesn't looks right. Maybe it is the texture and it could be lowered at one part (it looks like there is a bump). Yeeah it looks like really nice just some texturs don't blend well/ look realistic.

Yeah, IMO foliage would do the trick, but the interiors are cool.

umm? guys? its not the finished version of the map^^ i just used a random skybox and im still working on it. :)

If you didn't want suggestions on what to add to the map or what to fix, then you wouldn't make this thread. Not all posts will be about how this map is awesome and shit, some of them will actually criticize the map (in a cultural manner of course) and give suggestions what to fix or add.

I REALLY think that this is only /re-creation/ of Cordon from SoC, and not for roleplaying server.

Isn't it better that their are no set bases at the start? I mean SRP factions are pretty dead so you might as well set up a small camp and roleplay a squad or something.
