First few days in the zone, impressions?  Bad place, why did I want to come here?  Oh well, can't leave now, might as well make the most of it.
This jacket is nice, sexy and practical, nice mail sewn in it.  Guess some time I should go scavving for a gun, but where, I should ask Night. 
Been hearing things about a, Krauser?  No that's not it, Crawler?  Whatever, everybody's flipping out about it, I wonder what it is.
Earlier on my way to the bar, in the tunnel, I saw some stalkers fighting a bloodsucker, the bloodsucker vanished and there was an odd green glow, one of them said that we had to leave right away, we made a b-line right for the bar.  I have never seen people run that fast.

Entry 1 (Technically two but who cares)
Okay learned some things today, 1: Emissions are scary 2:  So are monolith 3: Especially when accompanied by zombies 4:  This PDA (which I never use) can take journals!  We never had anything like this on farm!  It is amazing the things you can miss when you are poor farmer.  And lastly 5: Bloodsuckers hit really fucking hard, I went to scrapyard with some cameraman, I think he was journalist, we didn't see anything, key word being see, I sure felt something, a bloodsucker came up from behind me and whacked me across the face, I managed to pump two shots in it with my TOZ, IT DIDN'T DIE, we both ran for our lives back to freedom, I passed out and needed help, I am fine now but I was in shock for a while.
