Garrysmod: SVN Fix.

Okay then. A friend of mine found a fix for Garrysmod. It worked for him and for me. The guy who wrote it isnt too great at english but you can understand it.
The Fix

Be warned. It will take a long time and there is no way of knowing what effect it may have on future updates. There IS a way of re-merging the folders, as explained in the link.

Sorry for a double post. But there is some confusion surrounding the fix.
Some people are reporting success, others are claiming it doesnt work.

My guess is there will be a better fix released soon that will not require everyone to DL an SVN and reinstall.

There is nothing wrong with the servers. Everything is clientside. Fix client side and you can connect. All this fix does is basically turn Gmod into a Sourcemod, using the engine as it was BEFORE the engine update.

As I posted in the other thread, if you people would actually go and read from the website the problem is related to the valve engine update. It's been fixed and the patch was sent to valve. However I highly doubt they're at work on a Saturday, so you can either do this complicated fix that MAY not work and MAY fuck up your Gmod, or wait until Monday. Your choice.
