C.S.R.P.

Clear Sky Revival Project

What is the Clear Sky Revival Project?

If you believe that Clear Sky was completely wiped out after STALKER: Clear Sky, you are absolutely wrong. The truth is that most of Clear Sky was captured and turned into Monolith. But not all of them were turned into Monolith. Two major examples would be Nimble and Grey (Novikov). Some Clear Sky are rumored to have been laying low, and working for the Ecologists. The Clear Sky Revival Project is a small group of the old Clear Sky faction that has re-banded together to form a new "Clear Sky". It will more than likely not grow to be as large, nor successful, but the group is still yearning for knowledge of The Zone, hence the reason they are trying to revive the Clear Sky faction. C.S.R.P. will consist of Ex-Clear Sky members, and any Loner wishing to gain knowledge of The Zone, or support C.S.R.P.'s research.

Was the above article too long? Did you not read it? C.S.R.P. is NOT Clear Sky. We have already come to the conclusion there will be no Clear Sky in SRP. It is a group compromised of Ex-Clear Sky members trying to accomplish Clear Sky's previous goal in researching The Zone with the help of any STALKER willing to lend a hand.

NOT CLEAR SKY.
Clear Sky ≠ C.S.R.P.

History of Clear Sky

Clear Sky was a faction that had dedicated themselves to researching The Zone. They were lightly armed, low in manpower, and a rather small faction in general. Most of their troops came from wandering or exploring Loners who are found in danger, injured, or in need of assistance by Clear Sky. These STALKER's, wanting to repay Clear Sky for their help and generosity, joined them, some of them however, left after paying their debt to Clear Sky. Though at first Clear Sky might have seemed weakly armed, and without much supply, their members wielding rather weak weaponry, such as Hunting Shotguns, Sawn-Off Shotguns, Makarovs, and the occasional AKS-74u, but at certain points they could be rather powerful, wielding assault rifles and other high powered weaponry, such as the SIG 550, seen when they assaulted Limansk.

During the course of the last fiscal year minimum wealth was earned, and dismal tears were shed for critical health concerns.

Wait..wait..what?

What is the point of this thread?

No, Instant Deny, LongLostBlake alrerady tried, No Cannon Factions.

The fact you instantly deny it for that is ridiculous. I could replace the words "Clear Sky" with something like "Dark Bears" or something like that and you'd more than likely have no problem with it.

The point of this thread? C.S.R.P. is a group I'm trying to work on? Which is why it is in the factions section.

Not really. You stated "We are ex-Clear Sky members trying to accomplish what the old Clear sky was doing."

You're the same faction just in different context.

I don't see why we can't have a small Clear Sky group. I would like to RP it, and I'm sure other people would to.

Maybe you should ask Silverknight..

Okay? Spetsnaz is the same faction as Military, just in a different context. And no, not really. It's a group trying to pick up where Clear Sky left off. Just because it was formed from Ex-Clear Sky members doesn't mean it's the same faction.

I will ask him in just a bit, actually.

I know, and Spetsnaz is a fucking stupid faction.

Was talking to him and he goes offline. :|

"It has not yet been established what became of the faction afterwards. Without Lebedev and most of their manpower, it is likely the faction disintegrated and became a mere footnote in Zone history." This would have been right around our time, suggesting several Clear Sky members are still alive and this is possible.

Grey and Nimble are the only ones left, the "Combat suit" is remains of clear sky armor. Play the new game damn it!

Anywho, as a few folk said this is CLEAR SKY and blake did try to do it. Why? Because who knows!

Real the wiki's dammit, We are in-between the end of CS and SoC making this the larges opportunity for survivors to band together, plus it says right before SoC all the clear sky leadership was killed by Strelok and his group so, this has the possibly to work. Grey and Nimble are the only two that still have a Combat suit by the time of CoP, call of pripyat is after SoC thus making it have no relevance.

Grey and Nimble are not necessarily the only ones left. They are the only ones left that are shown to you in CoP. That doesn't mean they are the only 2 alive, there is a possibility of there being more. If a Clear Sky member escape with his life, do you really think he just sits around in his old ass armor? No, he probably went to work with Eco's, or joined another faction. And if everything were true to the games lore, Freedom and DUTY would NOT have allied themselves, even with a "common enemy" excuse. You also say Greg and Nimble are (shown to be) left in the new game. It's a shame you have a moot point due to the fact the events of CoP haven't happened yet in the server.

As much as I wanted Clear Sky in srp it never happened.
All tho it would be a fun faction to play and develop your char as, Silver won't let it in srp.
So the best thing you can do is ask for a lock on this topic or change your faction to something else.

Well it does have relevance...
Notice how the clear sky members arent together and doing their own thing in CoP?
Thats why this wouldnt happen.
CoP is going to happen, thats the future, and i dont see any clear sky rebanded in that.

ITs been tried before.

+support Directly not said that it's Clear Sky! Ofc  I wouldn't mind if we could add Clear Sky , Loners and Bandits as a faction BUT SK Doesn't like it.

And if the group will be active and will consists of non "LOL GUnpower" people it's going to be an epic group!

This happened before and was denied.  The reason being you can't make canon factions.  If they wanted a canon faction to be implemented they would've done it.

I honestly don't think you people are understanding this correctly. You have a small group of Clear Sky members that survived. Lets say Clear Sky was 300 men strong. This faction is led by say, 25 (ICly) ex-Clear Sky members. The rest of the group are STALKER's that join the group to help their cause. From what I see, you people see my posts as "Tons of Clear Sky Lived, now they're back together". That's NOT what this group is. It's a group created by the SMALL amount of living Clear Sky members, that have recruited Loners to help their cause and give additional manpower.

ICly, it will be about 20 ex-Clear Sky members, and say 50 Loners. But OOCly, there will only be 3 actual "ex-clear sky" members. The leader (myself), co-leader (?), and one of the officers (?), the other officer and the members themselves all being loners that have joined the project to help and support the project.

IT IS NOT A GROUP COMPROMISED OF SOLELY EX-CLEAR SKY MEMBERS. IT IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF CLEAR SKY MEMBERS THAT LEAD THE FACTION, THE REST OF THE MEMBERS ARE LONERS THAT HAVE JOINED THE PROJECT TO HELP THE CAUSE OF FURTHER RESEARCHING THE ZONE.

I doubt you people are really reading the entire thread, either that are you just can't grasp how many times he said "This is not clear sky". Also, if you're unhappy with ex-clear sky actually being alive, well then people could have FOUND Clear Sky's research and jump started it again. It's amazing how just a few words apearantly sway the masses. So until you come with with a better explaination then "lol it says Clear Sky so -support!" don't bother even posting on it.

Obviously this is purely an "Aftermath," possibility; not "Clear Sky," itself.
Do not simply justify your assumptions on the 3rd installment since it entirely just focuses in the "Center," area of the zone. Doesn't provide any information of the Stalkers back behind the border.

Duty's Leadership wasn't obviously in the Center, but was confirmed alive and very likely to be alive still. Now apply to Clear Sky, they still have a good amount of members back at the swamps. All the previously met generics, Nimble, Grey, and that Scientist Fellow stayed behind to continue their operations. Their Leader and a good fraction of their forces obviously was destroyed during the emission. Nimble and Grey were still alive, thus it's extremely likely the members in the swamp survived. Leadership was destroyed so did the faction. They went their separate ways, but this "Group," just so happens to be the few of the survivors that wanted to continue the research.

"Clear Sky," is no more, and this is simply not THE "Clear Sky."

It's obvious hes stating the original leadership positions will be filled with surviving ex-clear sky members all other members will be loners and others.

I've talked with Silver and he told me it will not be a lolpewpewpew group. Like the original Clear Sky they are more focused on researching the zone, violence will be used if needed such as a threat that talking can't resolve like the bandits in Clear Sky. You have my full support Captain Silverwing!

Bandits will be marked as neutral from the start, if anything happens, even with just one of our members, they will be put down to hostile. I have talked to a few faction leaders and am going to update the thread in a bit with Allied/Friendly/Neutral/Hostile statuses.
