Well im... pretty busy with work and life, but in considering (if i can find the time) to put up a new roleplay server called "Colonization"

Pretty simple concept, it's meant to be a "quick" placement of a roleplay in the sense that there isn't too much planning but the results may prove interesting.

It's the British vs Americans in a fight for power and freedom over America. There's essentially two sides, Americans and allies and the British and there allies. Civilians are cut inbetween the two and are forced to roleplay their lives around the on-going war. Other european nations such as the french, spannish and such will be allowed but on a acceptance basis. canadians are on the british side before someone decides to get some idea in there head.

Both teams will be made up of a commander which in turn has their own ranks and it goes down from there. This is the day and age where you have inaccurate rifles and pistols which use gunpowder.

So... what can this bring about? Well that whole "hl2 - city lockdown citizen roleplay" battles with people on each side, lined up with cannoneers and such. Ship battles on the open sea, raiding, pillaging, all the old past times we all miss.

So.. aside from the military factors, there are other things;

Pirates - Sure enough if we have ships it may be a interesting feat.
Bandits - Land pirates!
Tradesmen - People with trades in blacksmithing and the sort.
Slaves - Well, it's still legal back then.

You get the picture, here i have splashed out a basic outline of a idea, it may not come to pass but i figure it's better to share a idea than keep it to yourself.
