Introduction
HGN has been around for quite along time, we are not a clan but a network and thus do not adhere to clanship guidelines and issues. Members of our network are people who have been with us for a long period of time and generally only play on our servers. These are trusted people and are allowed to wear the HGN tag.
How To Join HGN as a member
As said in the introduction we are not a clan and there are no offical applications, it's generally on a basis of veterancy, affliations and the period of time you have been playing at HGN. This means how long you have been with us, if your generally "accepted" within the network and in some ways your own personal commitments within the network.
I (Last.Exile) generally ask people to wear a tag if i feel someone is ready to become part of our network and become part of the bigger picture. However some people after a few months just add a tag and if there are no issues, then your a member.

FAQ
Q)Am i still allowed to play on other servers after wearing the tag?A)Yes, obviously- we are not nazi's
Q)Can i take the tag off?A)Removing your tag after you have put it on is very much a sin in HGN, it shows you have lost respect to our community, our purpose and what we aim to achieve. Essentially when you put on a tag, it's a big deal. Somewhat like renouncing your oath to HGN and sticking your middle finger. We are a brotherhood of gamers, not a clan, nor some petty group and if your not willing to be commited then you should not put the tag on in the first place.
Interesting topic, nice to see that the 'Getting in' to HGN has been changed, hopefully for the better.

[ontopic] This seems to clear up some things with random people putting the HGN tag on, Then a bunch of people on the server asking him why he did it if he didn't apply.[/ontopic]
