Before you read this Silver, just realize that I appreciate everything you're trying to do, or have done. You gave me a chance at admin, and I appreciate that. You trusted me, I appreciate that. Man, you gave me a chance at being admin, at leading a faction. You allowed me to stand up, and prove my worth. You allowed me to actually be a big part of this community. I'm forever grateful for that, and you KNOW I think you're a great guy, and consider you a friend. I also take note that you're stressed, and you feel under appreciated. Don't. We all appreciate you, and we're all willing to help. So don't read this thread if you don't want to. Wait awhile, in fact, it's a bit of a rage post. Not at you, but at the system. So keep in mind when you're reading this: I have tool trust. The respect system does not affect me. I have the flags I want. I RP what I want. I have fun on the server. Ideally, I wouldn't complain, because I have everything I need to enjoy SRP. However, others do not.

Give admins 40 respect, because if we can be admins and only have 0 respect, then the non-admins should be able to have TT.

I lead a faction and had 0 respect. I'm an admin now at 0 respect.

I know you've got a way to code that shit in. The respect system should be your priority, Silver. It's a crappy system in it's current state, and members are getting pissed. I'm tired of seeing people lose their TT because of this stupid system.

::EDIT:: And Silver, you knew what you were doing when you made me an admin. You know how critical I can be, and how much of a jerk I can be about things, but I don't think you know how mad I am at the system. I DO recognize you're getting things up and running. Anyway, flame me if that'd make you feel better, we all have to vent somehow, and I know you're stressed about things. But please, I've got a lot of good advice I think you should take into consideration.

The respect system needs to be the only thing you work on for SRP. This should be #1. We can't have new models, new faction systems, none of that without you getting the respect system up and running.

Admins: 40

Faction leaders: 20



Please, please listen to this Silver. We have to get this system working before we do ANYTHING else. A lot of experienced, good Role Players are being turned away from this server because of the system you have in place.

Silver, it's not an anti-minge system. It's an anti-good RP'er system. I admire and respect what you're trying to accomplish here, but Silver? It's not working. So we need to either fix it, or take it out completely.


The requirement for tool trust needs to be lowered. That's retarded. TnB is working fine without this system. HL2Land worked fine without this system. HRP is working fine without this system.

You're too paranoid about minges. Way too paranoid.

I will not allow people to be judged by a subjective number. I will not. Hate me if you want for this, but I'm tired of people being left behind. People need to be given chances. We need to trust people, and take a chance. We need to allow people to rise up, take charge, and prove themselves good leaders, and good Role Players. These flag systems and this respect system doesn't allow that. It restricts people. It seperates people. In fact, it almost creates a class system. We need to all be treated as equals here. Admins, players, whatever. People should start with everything, and lose things as they fuck about. Not the other way around.

You're missing the point, Matty. That's only a temporary solution, and will cause more chaos in the system. If we have a bunch of folks running around with TT who aren't recorded in the roster, shit will just get hectic. You can't propose a temporary solution like that, especially one that's really against the rules. I'm just tired of people losing their TT. Good, respectable RP'ers who've been here even longer than me.

This should be implemented.. I agree with this 100%. The respect system either needs to be modified, or taken out completely.
