Cooling and Shit

So, I need to overclock my card, because I'm a graphics whore... But I have no idea how to do it without my graphics card lighting on fire. Meaning, I don't know what type of extra card cooling to get, and how to attach it.

So here's what I wanted to ask:

Do any of you kiddies have some extra cooling stuff? Fan attachments, water cooling, etc...

If so, what type? And how easy was it to install?

It doesn't matter about cooling, it's more about:

1. Is Your computer already overclocked (some people autoclock it for you before you get ur comp)
2. Are you confident in using the bios screen?
3. how many fans do you currently have? what's the average temperature of your shit before you overclock it?
4. Always overclock to a reasonable speed, too much, it goes boom, too little, your not going to get shit out of it, and you would be wasting your time.

The average temp of my GFX card is about 40 degrees celsius on average, and that's when I have my fan at max. This is while I'm playing Fallout 3, though.

Also, I don't think they overclocked it. I bought all my parts separately and built my PC, and the parts are usually marked "factory overclocked" when you buy them. Before, I had a GeForce 8800 GT factory overclocked. It was about as good as GTX, but it overheated like a fat bitch on a treadmill.

I have about 8 fans in total, including the intake case fan and power supply fans.

You see though, I heard if I was gonna do anything like this, I'd need some bitchin' ass water cooling or some shit. I'll see about getting the current clock speeds for my card. I'm at school, so I'm unable to find any.

I just bought a 9800 GT 1GB with dual slot cooling im set.

You don't need water cooling, that should be good, depending on your case, 8 fans should work a treat, only thing left to say, is that you should know that overclocking ur shit halves the hardware's lifespan, so if your ok with that, go ahead with it, you can always return it back to normal.

I just overclock the fan attached to my graphics card. It gets it down to 40'C when the fan's at 50%.
