            Magic is unnatural. It is corrupt, and it is frightening. These are the beliefs of the common warriors. Warriors who have been upstaged. Men who once held the key to the kingdom with their brutish strength or clever cunning, are faced with one sad realization. No matter how strong they are, a fireball will turn them into a hulking inferno. No matter how quick they are, they cant dodge a bolt of lightrening travelling the speed oflight. They cant compete with wizards in any conventional way......so that leaves them one thing to do to bring back their power.

            Its simple, kill the Wizards.

                           Be it assassination or brutal cleaving, done secretly or in the middle of town with 50 onlookers, these men are a loose assosciation of brothers bonded in their craft and in there hate. Magicians and sorcerers may be powerful, but they cant stop what they dont prepare for. There is a old saying, If a wizard sees you at 100 yards, prepare to die. If a wizard sees you at 50  yards, prepare for a fight... and if a wizard sees you a 5 yards, prepare to clean his blood from your sword.

     Some people insist they are merely a myth...... that noone could possibly hate magic, look at all the great and wonderful things its done!
But those same men have never had the feeling of thier honor being stripped away from them,. Of there mentor, the best swordsman in the lands, killed by a spell while he was still 50 yards away. There is no honor in spell casting, no honor in hiding behind magical shields and summoned spirits.
    And soon, the magicians and spellcasters of this realm will learn just how "Mythic" These men really are.

this group will be made up of veteran warriors and archers who feel as if magic is stripping the honor from battles. they can have their own personal reasons for hating wizards.
Whoever leads this faction needs to understand that secrecy and paranoia are key to this position, as is the common sense not to assault a group of mages. This group should be small and well equipped.

Its a logical choice to have a polar opposite to the mages. Mages - Witchhunters. Its simple and needed. Completely agree with this idea. The idea of having janitors of the server is great, helps to weed out the less..... roleplay skilled mages as it were. Good luck, hoping it gets accepted being a mage hater myself.

I do beleive the only Mage/Priest Groups will be [Priesthood] [Order of Merlin][Order of Daern] [Cult with the Necromancer] [ Druid people] And since Priest's / Druids Dont go into battle that leaves around 3 Group's so ehh why so mad Donut they are needed becaouse they are in the canon. [And as it seem's to me it's only good roleplayer's that get into those Group's so prepare for having a damn boring time in this faction] xD.

There will be no "LOLMAGE"s if Silver gives me full control over who gets what spell and where.
I have almost ruled out MoordacT's little "DarkDruidwtfmagicgief", and am currently disciplining Dom's group into something more... acceptable.

But yes, this would be interesting to see, but if we do get into the PK's, consider the current Populace first, if it's like 20-30 Magic-wielders, feel free to insta-pk em(Unless a Magi War is on), if it's something like 5, go for a Roleplayed approach, that way the Canon dosen't get screwed in the ass, and everybody has a moment to react.

Nah, keep it quiet and incomspicuous for the first month or so, as there will only be probably Dom, Akira, Myself, and Creeding as spellcasters to start with.
And of course... we all have different backstories and agendas, why kill the Enemy of your Enemy when he can just as easily become your friend?

Best thing i can imagine with this group is their ability to drop in and out of Inquisitor Status Per se. They could mingle and blend in with crowds of people no worries.
