Excellent news for me today.

Some of you are aware that i aspire to be a soldier in the british army.
Now i know not all of you are fans of war etc.
Im not either, but its something ive wanted to do since i was little, and having family that has been in the army.

Well i looked at my medical record, thinking "Fucking im deffinalty going to get rejected for a few years"
So i got a phone call yesterday, saying the medical office needs more information as they are considering you.

So my chances have gone from 5 percent to 50/50 now.

Im pretty happy, and if i get accepted, it will be the best christmas i could ask for.
So wish me luck?

Hell I would join the Air-force >.> Euro Fighter isn't too bad. Actually most British troops in Afghanistan/Iraq rely on American Air assets lol. Oh well I hope they accept you. If you don't mind what is wrong with your health that they wouldn't consider you?

Well, due to joining rates i wont be in if i get accepted until the end of 2010-end of 2011.
But i had a chest tightness last year and the doctor prescribed me an inhaler, now the army is very funny with that.
Fact is theres no problem what so ever, its just getting passed the medical team, normally they would deny me straight away. So i have sort of been given a second chance :)

Ah im heading for the Parachute regiment, one of our toughest infantry courses, infact its one of the toughest infantry courses in the world. So time to get fit :P
