Duty Report:Beelzebub's Nostrils

To those who have not read or have been in the "Walking Towards Satan's Throat" event, here's a brief description:

This happened when Rohok was still around, and we all played on md_redux. Milifags gets owned by Freedom, only one was left alive, Albert Lewensky and a private saw the trainyard explode with a bunch of flesh and shit covering it, Freedomers get owned by it, the two dutiers get everyone they can to the trainyard, we all pwned a horde of bloodsuckers, including one wearing an exosuit or something, and we escaped and killed the huge flesh thing.

This event I call "Beelzebub's Nostrils" is a bit like a sequel to Walking Towards Satan's throat, in that they are both weird, awesome, and you all wouldn't believe it at first, but it actually happened on the server.

Anyway, here's an OOC description of what happened:Some admins decided to start a meteor shower(After Duty lost a fight against some bandits), killing some people, and a big meteor was spawned and hit the eco bunker, blowing everything up. Some Monos went into the bunker, and there was an alien coming from the big meteor. Somebody pwned it, and it died, causing another explosion and blowout. Another alien came by, and it killed a bunch of people, including the only Dutier online besides me. We all ran to the Monolith's base while fighting the alien, and they allied with us. Prior to that, there was a chopper that Blake was using and he almost killed some of us, and the alien FUBAR'd the Monolith's base.

We all ran from the Mono base, and I told everyone to go to Argoprom. Two choppers came by and shot at us, the alien did some DBZ blast at one of them and died, and we all ran to Argoprom and hid there till the choppers left.

Now for the IC story.


Colonel Demidov, I send to you this report. As you are away to a meeting involving only other Colonels and Generals, I must write and send this report immediately, along with the other titled "Walking Towards Satan's Throad", which is a copy of the original report I sent to Colonel Moor.

To start, there has been a strange meteor shower around the area. None of us were killed in the shower, but the roof of the building is somewhat broken, but we temporarily repaired it. After the shower ended, we saw a gigantic meteor head towards the ecologists' bunker. I yelled in terror and decided to go to Argoprom to avoid the meteor, as our base was closer to the bunker.

After the meteor had hit, two blowouts had commenced immediately, but I survived. The base had remained untouched, and so did many of our Dutiers. Anyway, only Laitis and Zutherson were active at the moment, along with a Soldier whose name I forgot. We arrived at the bunker, finding every stalker there, and sighted several Monolith inside, worshipping the meteor until an alien came out and ate one of them. Everyone shot at it, but I ordered everyone to yet again return to Argoprom for safety. Fortunately, we had done so in time, as the bunker had exploded, killing off several stalkers. There was another blowout, but it was short.

After reaching the remains of the bunker, we found another alien charging at stalkers, killing them one by one. It was massive and swift, and it killed one of our dutiers. Laitis and Zutherson had taken injuries, but they have quickly recovered, and I led the stalkers into cover when a military chopper came by and tried to shoot everyone, including their own men. When I looked around, I found not only stalkers, but the Military, bandits, and even Freedomers fighting together. Duty had as well, myself being the only representative.

I ordered everyone to run to the Monolith base and had them open the gate, with the alien following us. As we avoided the alien's strikes, it clashed upon the walls and buildings, destroying the Monolith base like a knife into butter. I managed to escape, but the chopper came by again, but with a second one. We all ran to Argoprom a third time, with the alien delaying the choppers by firing energy beams and blasts at it. It was quickly killed by the two choppers, however, but it gave us enough time to run to Argoprom, where we stood still and hid until both choppers left.

It felt like a hollow victory, Colonel, but at least we lived, while both the Freedomer and Monolith base were destroyed for right now. I also expect a response to this report, as I had one from Moor after sending the first report.
