The XFire Thread

Some of you may know it, some maybe don't. XFire is a great program to communicate with eachother during games. I know all of you will be like "But Steam can do the same!". Of course it's true, but XFire isn't such instable. I think all of you know that the Steam In-Game Web Browser is VERY crashy. The XFire version isn't. Here is a picture of the game overlay. The guy put his XFire on German, couldn't find a good picture where it was set in english.



Cool thing is that it's not lagging at all. The Steam version kinda does. But the best part of it is the Broadcast. You can show people LIVE what you are playing at the moment. You just open the overlay, click on the broadcast button (it's the satellite dish at the bottom of the picture), wait until the initialisation is done and invite a friend to your live show! You can also take good screenshots and do ingame recording. It's also supporting voice chats.

Now, after explaining, I'll come to the point of this. Get XFire if you don't have it and give us your XFire account name so we can add you! If you already have XFire post your name of course too. You can also leave comments about XFire. But please be like "I had this a year ago, it's gay." It got some great improvements in the last time. I didn't like it either some time ago. Right, I'll start with my account name.

Yeah, I know of it... BUT! I fucking hate XFire, I had to reinstall STEAM, Cause somehow the XFire chat or what the hell, Fucked steam up, I couldn't press SHIFT+TAB to say anything to anyone, to check a webpage, etc...
By the way, It's good...

Used to have it. Dad uninstalled it. He didn't know how to uncheck a box that said "Start X-fire on start-up."

We have Xfire on the forums, you can enter in your xfire username, and it will display what your playing while on xfire as a icon, it's pretty amazing.
