Yuri Kharkov: Recruits Statement. (ooc: Last nights event)

The situation:
I was on sentry with Corporal Brome. It was me and the other new recruit, Eddie something.
We had received a broadcast about a large Phsy emission heading our way, we took cover. It stopped, we heard groans, Corporal Brome lead a patrol where we linked up with a merc and some duty members.
It went shit from there. Zombiefied stalkers. They opened up on us, so we returned fire trying to cut them down, but they took so much, i had chit them at least 15 times... but it didnt take effect. Captain Yurdansky ordered us back to base, where the emission started getting bigger. Walls started to fall.

The broadcast told everyone to get to some tunnels Near Agroprom,
The captain ordered us to make our way there.
We where shocked to find the mix of people down there... We had mercs, duty, loners, and worse of all freedomers.
The stench of hate reeked as we entered and freedom eyed us up, was almost as if a fire-fight was going to brake out.
We ignored them and made our way into a room where we barricaded it up.
Groans of the zombified stalkers cried out, and gunfire errupted from beyond our position.
The sounds where getting closer... Until we knew there was something outside.
The Captain tried motivating us until The corporal went insane at the constant groaning.
Then The barricade fell, we opened up rapidly, until i was hit in the arm from a nasty shot, knocking me straight
back into the wall behind us.
Brome pulled himself together and tended to my wounds, i was back up and firing.

After a long and bloody gunfight everything stopped...
We begun to evacuate the tunnel, When we noticed Eddie had a problem... he had taken a round to the abdomen.
I tended to him, just enough to get us to base. We doubled our way there as eddie lost health.
We immediatly tended to him and operated on him.
I extracted the wound, and stitched him up to stop the blood.

The Mission was a success, altho a few wounds where received, we had no losses.
