How/What do you expect the CCA experience to effect your character? 4 Sentence: My character is stuck in between the combine helping... or hurting. Taking up the position as a Civil Protection unit will help him make a decision. His mind is telling him that they are there to help, but his heart knows that everyone is being chained down and kept til' death. He will try to be nice as he can to fool himself to thinking the combine are helpful.

Tell your characters' back story, Before, During, and After the 7-Hour war, and how they got to their current state:
John never enjoyed life, It always had him down, one point, and then the other. His mother died on the day of his birthday of 27. He felt this was a sign, he was always afraid of any day to promote bring closer to death as a good thing. Without his mother he was a weaker person, causing him to grow a frail personality, every corner could have carried death, and every day was more dangerous than the other.

The Seven-Hour war was the icing on the cake. He never knew what was going on until the T.V. showed an "emergency broadcast". The sky was filled with strange bug like "spaceships", all with a strange roar. The roof of the university shook loudly, obviously one has made its way there. Startled he ran as fast as he could down each hallway until he saw the entrance. John busted out of the double doors, staring into the sky as one of the ships carrying a block lands, armed soldiers coming out. These soldiers were more advanced and looked like they meant some serious shit. He turned and ran back inside, everyone else pushing the other way, right outside. He turned quickly to see everyone being halted at gunpoint, one tried to make a break for it until a bullet collided with his kneecaps, the student dropped like a brick, writhing on the ground. Soon one of the hostiles made it past the group to the double doors. John freaked out, running the the other direction. A bullet ripped past the tile in the corner as he passed, it being a close call. He froze up after seeing another line of the soldiers in the hallway, a group of students layed on the ground, hands on their head. It was then John knew that was it, no running anymore. He lowered down slowly to the ground until he was in the same position as everyone else. Soon the soldier chasing him got to his side, looking down on him. The raised his boot into the air with John oblivious of it until everything went black.....

It was now a year later, the combine had taken the world into it's grasp along time ago, calling it the Seven-Hour War. It went by so quickly, now he resides in apartments the same as everyone else. He always looked to the combine as a more strict yet more active police force. Whenever they were recruiting he could never gain the courage to take an application in the alien, blue steel, building. Until now....




What are your characters' traits? ((Physical, Mental, Personality)): He is frail at times and likes to look to the better side of a story rather than the more grim units that would enjoy to amputate a citizen.

Please explain in a paragraph or more: I join HL2 roleplay to see less civilian roleplay which makes me stare at the combine more often, or even mess with them to create my own roleplay. I would like to join the CCA for more roleplay chances, and the have more authority over the citizens to ensure all is good.
