You find a box of papers that are labeled "TUCA"; or, "Traders Union of Chernobyl Applications". You pick one up, and you notice it has two lines that are in bold, yellow ink. You pull out whatever writing utensil you possess, and proceed to write your application"


Upon further inspection, you discover the application is quite long. And notes "Will be examined by *Big Boss*", whatever that means to you. You agree, and proceed to write the application.


You notice the last line, a brightly bold green text that begins before the very first application's requirement. "Whoever you are, heed these words...You may or may not know, but the Traders Union plays an extremely large role in the Zones' economy. Due to this, these applications are extremely difficult to achieve. These applications are read over by Khaletskiy, Sidorovich, and the barkeep, and are checked thoroughly, and double checked. Much thought is put into these when they are received, and they are reviewed by the leaders of the Traders Union before they are judged. If you wish to achieve the best results possible, I, and everyone else suggest that you put your best effort into this. Because if you fail, I and everyone else here hope you know why you failed."

The line ends, and you proceed to write the application, with full confidence.


You noticed that the next lines that appear under the ones from before appear in dark, red ink.

If I catch any of you applying abusing your priveleges, disobeying the rules, or mucking about, you will be kicked out with a severe punishment. End of story. The Traders Union practically handles the entire Zone's economy, and I will not risk jeapordizing it in the wrong hands. Remember these words, for you will need them. I will deal with you myself if this is to occur"

You nod your head in agreement, and turn stick the piece of paper in a small slit on a metal box with a lock-pad labeled "IN".

Why do I want to become a Trader : For THESE reasons :

-Allow stalkers to buy guns
-Allow stalkers to sell guns they don't want
-Give stalkers missions to gain roubles
-Add a slight element of fear. How, may you wonder ? Simple : if someone fucks with my trader (as in, mugging or robbing me, or threatening my life, or what have you), as long as I get out alive, I'll put a bounty on their head, and they'll be in deep crap. It actually is more forced respect, but it's a bit the same.

Why do you think I should pick you, to become a trader: Because I do believe I'll be good in doing what I have written in the previous question, and because I'm an all-around very decent roleplayer.

What are you motives to become a trader: Help the stalkers in getting guns and roubles, as well as adding some passive roleplay to the server.

What is your experience as a trader: Little to none, just some very light trading experience as a citizen trader on an HL2RP server.

Have you had past experience in trading: Yes, but it didn't last long, and was slight. Explained in above question.

How determined are you to become a trader, what is your feeling for the Traders Union as well:  I'm very determined, and I believe the Trader's Union is VITAL to RP in the Zone, both because it allows stalkers to gain roubles, adds passive RP, and most of all, allows stalkers without flags to get guns, an essential element in active RP.

Do you have any alternative characters: A lot. Claw my bandit, Bird my Merc, Fedka Pumpkins my zombie, Rock my stalker and Dreugh my bloodsucker, for now.

Are you currently in any other faction: My bandit is in the Underground Raiders, faction he created, but I'm not in any official factions.

Have you played the STALKER games: SoC and CS, finished them in their entirety, a couple of times each.

Have you ever been kicked from the server: Yes, once, by Nitro, for killing Doomburger because he crashed, in case he'd lose stuff, when Nitro was about to kick him himself.

Have you ever been kicked out of HGN: Nope.

Do you have Tool-Trust: Not yet, but since it's simply NEEDED to be a trader, I'm working on getting it.

Character Description: I'm about one meter eighty-eight tall and weigh around eighty kilograms. Even though my mother was -God bless her soul- french, I'm really black (OOC note : not Obama black, black as in Kenyan black).
I'm bald and wave my Garibaldi fashionned brown beard around. (OOC note : Garibaldi beards are named from one man who wore that kind of beards, and here's his Wikipedia entry : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giuseppe_Garibaldi). Apart from my relative tallness, the fact that I'm black, and my unique facial hair style -well, in the Zone- I am more or less common in matters of physical traits.

Have you used drugs: Never. These are devilcraft.

Have you used alcohol based substances: Yes, occasionally, some wine or beer during boring rainy days.

Backstory : Well, my name is Pierre Soko, and I was born fourty-four years ago in Auch, a moderately big city in South-Eastern France. I grew up there, went to school, did a full course, went to college... et cetera. I speak perfect French, flawless Kenyan, good English and decent Russian. When I was young, I thought France lacked black politicians, so I tried to get up into politics. In the end, I managed to get a seat at the Parliament as a French "deput?". That didn't help me getting good trading skills, but it helped me become more of a silver-tongued devil. After I got more or less bored of the job, I quit. Since being a "d?put?" pays well, and continues paying after you quit the job, I got quite decently rich out of that, living a rich life in the French countryside, until I heard of the Zone. Being the somewhat adventure-seeking and greedy guy I am, I thought going there as a general fight-related trader could help me much richer. So... here I am. Took a flight to Kiev, a train to the Cordon, bribed my way in.. and then I saw the desolation. People came to the stupid Zone even without a single gun! I mean, what would you expect ? Friendly warm welcome ? No! Bandits, mutants.. YOU NEED WEAPONS to survive in here! So when I arrived, about three hours ago, I took my Makarov out of it's holster, tried to get a bit closer to the Bar -because I heard that DUTY protects stalkers from bandits and mutants there- and now.. well, here I am. Writing this.

Yuri was born in Moscow. From a young age he had a dream to be a wealthy businessman. When he became old enough he started his own little business with his older brother. It was a small little food business. In a short time the brothers business flourished and grew in size. It started to become a famous little business in his small district of Moscow. A few years after his business began, Yuri's parents died in a horrible accident. The two changed completely, Yuri was violent, aggresive and unpreditable, his brother become quiet. A few month after their parents death the two became distant. The business being run solely by Yuri's brother. After numerous problems Yuri got into, he had to leave Moscow and russia. He fled to Ukraine, hoping to redeem himself somehow. After his problems caught up with him, he had to flee once again. Hearing that there was an area where he could be safe, he searched for it. On smuggling himself in he saw that it was a different place to what he believed it would be. Now 24, after a year in the zone, he see's a chance to make a profit with the Traders Union.

Why do you want to become a trader: When I first joined the server traders were extremely rare and it made it very hard to be a Loner because no one would give jobs or anything.  So it's mainly to help S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs out.
Why do you think I should pick you, to become a trader: Because I've been here for about 5-6 months and have demonstrated that I am a responsible and mature person (I'm an admin after all)
What are you motives to become a trader: I like Passive RP a lot more than Pew pew. And I want to make a shit load of money ;)
What is your experience as a trader: None in server but in real life I buy and sell paintball guns for profit.
Have you had past experience in trading: (Seems a little repetitive but ok) Nope...well at least nothing other than Pokemon cards way back in the day and the paintball guns I do now.
How determined are you to become a trader, what is your feeling for the Traders Union as well: Well I was up until midnight last night bugging you to finish the damn app so I could hurry up and apply. That's determination right there...though it looks like your app was finished only 10 minutes after I went to bed which makes me sad.

Sergei Fedorov was born in Moscow in 1980. His parents were factory workers for the State. Life was fairly difficult. When Sergei was 11 the USSR collapsed but conditions did not improve all that much. He got a job at the famous Izhmash factory as soon as he was old enough to but quickly became bored of the menial work of assembling AKs all day. He longed for something better but his options were fairly limited since he was not well educated.

In 2006 his chance came. The second Chernobyl explosion transformed the Zone of Alienation in the Ukraine into an almost magical place. Rumors reached Sergei of the wealth to be had in the Zone and the strange creatures that inhabited it. Sergei quit his job and, using all the savings he had, crossed into the Ukraine and the Zone itself. He bought himself a rifle and some canned food with the last of his rubles and set off in search of fortune.

After 3 years of being the Zone Sergei had amassed a sizeable stash of artifacts and was far richer than he had ever been. Although profit could be had from selling the stuff in the Zone, Sergei had heard rumors that the outside was where the prices were highest. Unfortunately that meant smuggling yourself out of the Zone. He was captured by the military and languished in a military prison for nearly a year before a S.T.A.L.K.E.R raid freed him. Sergei infiltrated the Zone once again, hoping to salvage some of his wealth from before. He was able to amass a fair bit of equipment to sell from his various stashes. He signed up with the Trader's Union for a vending license and now sells equipment to S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs in an attempt to make some of the money back he lost at the hands of the military.

Dmitri breathed heavily, trying not to move. Inside the bush several twigs were digging into his back and he was becoming impatient. Finally someone ran behind a building, out of the view of the military guards. The person produced a p99 and shot it in the air a few times. The alerted guards ran towards the building leaving one behind to keep watch. Dmitri approached the soldier and pulled out his wallet, placing a wad of cash in the guard's top pocket. The guard stood to the side and let the trader pass through the checkpoint.

Dmitri lived in Ukraine just outside the zone. He had a small shop in the local town and sold alchohol and food. But alas he had not much business. One night Dmitri heard footsteps coming from downstairs, the shop. Dmitri crept down the stairs, his rifle in hand. He peered round the corner and saw something that made him stop breathing.

The shop was a mess. Blood was splattered about as well as severed body parts. He heard a growl and looked to his left. There was a strange human-shaped creature with tentacles hanging from its mouth, it seemed to be eating a corpse that was laid in the corner. He swallowed and brought up his rifle. He tried to aim at the creature but he was shaking too much. The bullet hit the wall next to it and it immediately span round growling more fiercely. Dmitri could see the anger in its Cold, glowing eyes. The creature got ready to pounce but was impaled on the wall by a series of bullets. Dmitri looked to the shop door to see a group of men in what looked like Military gear. He breathed a sigh of relief and one of the men heard him.
"Hey, you!"
"W-what?"
"Your going to have to come with us."
Dmitri suddenly knew he had seen something he shouldn't have. He legged it upstairs. He could hear the soldiers running below and knew he didn't have much time. He looked around for the nearest window and smashed it open with his rifle then threw himself out and onto his van parked outside and ran off.

Dmitri spent four months looking for a safe place to hide and eventually found out about the zone. He bribed his way past a checkpoint and took rest in a local bar. He found out that stalkers relied on the Traders Union for their supplies and weaponry and that traders had a lot of business. He then decided to sign up for the Traders Union.

Why do you want to become a trader: I wish to become a trader in order to sell goods and keep the economy going.
Why do you think I should pick you, to become a trader: Well, why should you pick anyone? You could do it all yourself and become very rich. Then again, you do need people in the faction that can take the time to help out. So, humbly i will asisst with whatever is needed.
What are you motives to become a trader: The thing that motives me is the fact, time and time again in the past (even now) traders are scares thanks to time zones, or players who are not dedicated to being a trader. This doesnt just upsets myself, but the stalker community.
What is your experience as a trader: I've have never been a trader on stalker rp before.
Have you had past experience in trading: Eh,i n garrysmod i did have a few RP shops on random servers that i'd visit. On this one right now, Boris is a "Mr.Fix it" kind of character, roleplay wise to take the place of what they had in Clear sky to "upgrade" weapons and suits, along with repair work.
How determined are you to become a trader, what is your feeling for the Traders Union as well: I am determined simply out of necessity for the server players and, will abide by the TU rules.

Character Description: The man has a tall heavy build, seemingly intimitdating. He stands around seven feet tall, at 180 pounds. His crewcut brown hair and grey eyes constantly staring at objects, seeing if anything usefull can be made from em.
The man himself is friendly to anyone who walks into his repair shop. No matter the weapon or armor, his time in the zone has giving him the skills needed to repair or upgrade them.

Born in Bohemia during the cold war in 1973, Boris came from a military family. His family was a proud one, having fought against the nazi state of Slovak. When the Red Army came to libirate the country, His family felt indebted to the Soviet Union. He grew up with soviet properganda screaming into his ears by his parents and other adults. Him and the youth could see the truth, the Soviet Union made them peasents.
In his youth, Boris learned mechanical skills be working on military jeeps and such that his father,who was to drunk most of the time to provide for the family,was contracted to fix. The did lead with brushs against other peasents wanting work or, even food for that matter which caused riots threwout his village. With whatever money he made thanks to the contracts, he was forced to fight in order to keep it. When the collapse of the Soviet Union finally came, he praised god for finally being free. This brought new oppratunity for him and his family, so he decided to set up a repair shop.
The busniess was booming with new vehicals from the western world. He gain profit after profit for his skill untill one faitful night. Schuhart was closing up shop around 11'o clock when a mugging was taking place, with a wrench in hand he had blunged and battered the wouldbe theives. This, unknowingly to him would lead to deep shit. Late at night,he was awoken by a banging on his aparment door. This turned out to be the cops, seems one of the muggers was the son of a wealthy loan shark. When things with the cops became sour, Boris was forced to shoot one of them and escape out of a third-story window, after which he escaped to the Zone.

Why do you want to become a trader: I want to sell wares gain a steady amount of Roubles and see if I can hand out some jobs to keep those Rookie's busy and get them all set to be safe in the zone!
Why do you think I should pick you, to become a trader: I'm a mature and very good roleplayer, I know alot about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and I just love it. I know how to act as a trader and set up a barkeep.
What are you motives to become a trader: I want to help and bring my influence in other's people's roleplay, giving missions and keeping them armed against the dangers of the zone.
What is your experience as a trader: I haven't been a trader yet but I hope I become one this time.
Have you had past experience in trading: Yeah, I used to sell alot of things as a CWU Worker in an HL2RP Server, I know how to reason with customers and how a trader should behave in the STALKER Universe, cold blooded bastards that care about roubles and hand out jobs in exchange for roubles or items.
How determined are you to become a trader, what is your feeling for the Traders Union as well: I'm looking to give some good roleplay oppertunities to the Stalker's in this great server, keeping them supplied and with missions/jobs seems very fun. No, I know it is very fun! The feeling is that the trader's union is a must have in STALKER Roleplay which really influences the gameplay and should help the new people on their way in this server.

Akim Chernovsky is a greedy man who loves to eat and drink Vodka regulary but he is very resistant to becoming drunk and usually doesn't show it from the outside unless he opens his mouth. He's a tough man, a little chubby always wears the same leather jacket with a pack of cigarette's in it. He used to own a small grocery store that didn't run well.. The motive to start a grocery store began in his childhood, he was kind of an outcast always had to look after himself because noone else did, his parents didn't give a rats ass about Akim because he costs to much.. Akim always did jobs, washing, cleaning and distributing the paper, he quickly managed to get an amazing amount of roubles at age sixteen just by doing jobs all day long, well an amazing amount it wasn't but enough to keep his eating habit in order. He always had the love for just dry bread soaked in water and that is the only strange trait he carries. Altough Akim is just fourty-two he's already bald and gray and his hair doesn't grow back which is kind of sad because he turned gray and bald at the age of thirty, but he just tells everyone he shaves, he does grow a big bushy beard tough which usually gets pieces of bread in it. But apart from his eating habits he's not a very social person he rarely makes friends and if he does it's probarly business related. Akim isn't a man who can be scared easily and he isn't prepared to shoot a gun at all until he turned thirty-eight, some of his actual friends told them they were going to the zone, they kept in touch trough satellite phones and gave him some information about the trader's union there, he knew the zone was dangerous and really wanted to go there to join his friends so he taught himself on how to use a firearm and finally decided to go to the zone, and now he's there applying for the trader's union.

((Just heard from Snowblind trader's can't be fat, but I already figured out since Akim just came to the zone that he will loose weight over time, a nice roleplay influence it will give too. :3))

Character Description: Aboka was born in the USA. 2 years after his birth his Parents moved to Russia. Aboka had a normal life. He had lots of friends in his school , and every grade past 7th he had a Girlfriend. In 8th grade his parents had another child , her name was Andrea Savereganty. His sister was small and fragile , but had athletic talent unlike Aboka. When Aboka hit 18 he in listed into the Soviet Army , they never did accept him. He had a Heart problem had to take a medication and they wouldn't allow him to join because the medication made the user have heavy breathing , not allowing him to run or do any vigorous activities. Reached 22 and got into a fight after a car crash , he had hit the man in the nose , it was in such a position it almost killed the man. Was sent to jail after the fight , mainly from not being able to pay taxes. He's released five years after being sent there. Next year the Chernobyl accident happens. He decides to go to the zone , make a heavy profit and then return home with the money. He leaves , unfortunately his sister follows him. He gets deeper into the zone , he see's someone in the bushes and raises his Makarov that he was able to steal from an S.T.A.L.K.E.R. He finds his sister in the bushes almost after shooting her. Had no other Choice but to take his sister back home. But he wasn't able to , all the Exits of the zone near him were blocked by Military. He was to deep into the zone and he had no way out. Through the next year himself and his sister barely manage to survive. Him and his sister joins freedom for a short time. But the freedom base was attacked by Duty , they manage to make it out of the base and even deeper into the zone. After that Aboka looks into a job that can get paid , he knew he won't manage to get out without dying , so he looks into a long term job for trader.

Why do you want to become a trader: Because, out of my three years of garrysmod roleplay I find it the most interesting in my perspective to use some kind of trade or merchant character. It grants great roleplay opportunities and lets you get to know other players ICly and OOCly.

Early in his childhood both of his parents were killed in a brutal car accident which left him scarred for many years. After the incident with his parents his uncle took him in. By this time he was fourteen years old. His uncle worked at a small pawn shop which was not doing so well. Not long after living with his uncle he began to help out around his uncle's store. After about two years of doing small jobs, mainly sweeping and taking out trash, small chores mostly, his uncle sat him down. His uncle told him that he had worked with the shop for awhile now and that it was time for him to take on bigger responsibilities. Bodran was shown to the main counter and was set to a position similar to the manager of the store. He began working with other people and started his first duties as a store manager. Many years later when he was 24 his uncle passed away, leaving his store to Bodran. Bodran had plenty of experience by now and had no problem running the store by himself. One day a stranger came in, he did not state where he was from but had brought in a strange object, the likes of which he had never seen before. When he asked the stranger what he had brought in and who he was he spoke of a place filled with treasures beyond belief and endless opportunities. He was intrigued and wanted to know more about this place, instead the stranger offered passage into "The Zone". A hefty price was needed though and Bodran was to excited now to pass up this offer, he paid the stranger and barely had anything left. He was smuggled in through a truck and left in a small loner camp. He learned quickly of The Zone and what it had to offer, he learned about all the factions and what they did. He thrived to do what he did best, trade. He found his opportunity written on a piece of paper, the Traders Union.

Backstory of character: Nikolai first came to the Zone accidently. For a long time he wanted to travel the world and explore, and for only 1 year ago, a man named Niko Cheskinski promised him that he would take Nikolai with him and see the world!
Ofcourse Nikolai said yes and packed his bags and left all that he called home. All seemed so perfect, untill the day Nikolai first started to relize that he wasn't on his way to see the world, only the brutal landscape of the Zone. Mr Cheskinski had planned to sell Nikolai as a slave to a bandit group in the Zone, and it didn't took long untill he was doing hard labour all day long with almost nothing to eat or drink. He had nothing...

After a long time in "hell" and many tries of escaping it, Nikolai made a run for the freedom and finally vanished into the harsh enviroment in the Zone. He was finally free.
Now Nikolai started to do some work for the Duty, and after that he got some small jobs from the Military, but he wanted something else.
During all his work and missions, he had mad some money, but he had also found a lot of different guns and rifles, and not to mention, all the broken armor parts laying on the ground here and there.
He was a bit restless, so when he had some spare time, he started to fix some of the armor that he had found and also, with help from some weapon craftsmen, he started to learn how to repair guns and rifles.
It didn't take long untill he met new friends in the Zone, and after a while, he found himself selling his first product to a lonley S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

After all the horror that Nikolai had seen in the Zone, he finally had something that made him happy, something that he could make a living out of, and something that he was good at. He wanted to become a Trader!
So he decide to pack all his equipment, all the weapons,all the suits and armor and all the products that he had, and head towards the town and start his career as a Trader.

Backstory: Felix was born in Romania on October, 1982, he came from a rich family, in which he received most of what he wanted and needed to advance to college. From then on his parents ignored most of his plea's for assistance. On his second year of college he began to study abroad, in four different country's learning their customs and languages, by the time he left to join the working world he had forgotten most of what he learned away from home. With his parent's giving him a large amount of money to their broke son to get started, he got a job as a gun salesman. This proved to be a rather small success, earning revenue he managed to hire another person to keep the small shop together as he traveled to America to invest in the stock markets, this proved to be a total failure and he returned with less then he had when he started, broke and nearly going bankrupt, Felix asked his parents for more and was quickly and effectively rejected of any money. Felix frustrated with lack of money, looked around for jobs to work at, only to find a rumor of a place called "The Zone", hearing of all the treasures and adventure Felix created a market scam to earn enough money to Travel to said Zone.

This proved simple and effective enough, that no one truly knew it was a scam until he checked out of his hotel and on a nearby train to Ukraine with most of his needed belongings. The moment he arrived, he contacted the nearest guide to avoid the blockade. The trip was eventful with, the military searching most of the items in the truck. Once across the boarder, he wandered around looking for treasures, finding none and instead dangerous bandits, and mutants. Not properly armed, Felix traveled with other loners, eventually making a few friends with contacts, after a few days Felix heard of the Traders Union, thinking of a business opportunity he took the nearest group heading to town and applied when he arrived.

Why do you want to become a trader:I would like to become a trader because I have noticed that many, many times, When I want to buy something, There are NO traders. I would like to be beneficial to the games economy, And the be there when people need me.

What are you motives to become a trader:As I said, I want to benefit the economy. Also, having said that. I would love to be ONE step higher in this amazing RolePlay.
What is your experience as a trader:For EVERY roleplaying game I have played I have strived to be one of the merchants, Or traders. Simply because the traders make the most money, Help others, And most of all, Have the most fun. For my 3 years on Garry's Mod, I have strived to be the person that everybody looks up to. It was the final day of maintenence for the Chernobyl Nuclear Institution, Ray stared out of the second floor window. No worries, No problems. He could see it was just another rainy day in Russia...
Until the unthinkable happend scientists and repair men rushed past his door, down to the basement level, through the hallway. Ray stood up and took stride along these men, He rushed up to his friend, Alex, "What the hell is happening?!" He shouted, over the now-sounding alarm. "I don't know Ray, I don't know!" As the two figures raced down the stairs unto the darkness laid down infront of them. The horror on the two mens faces changed to fear...

The 'indestructible reactor' was leaking toxins everywhere.

Meanwhile; The Zone 13:00 PM

Bandits again  raided the bar's stockpiles of alcohol, The bartender, His kids, And his wife lay dead. Stripped and mutilated, The bodies were missing limbs. The Bandits laughed at their malice and fled the town, Only to be faced with a Military patrol. Bullets flew for the guns of the angels, and tore through the Bandits like hot knives through butter. The blood was everywhere, Everything was burning, People were mutating into horrible beasts. A white light sprang from the far end of the corridor. Alex lay dead on the floor, Burned to death by the fruits of his labour. Ray tore through the passageway, and to the front door. Screaming, sweating and dying, Ray decided to escape. Ray would forever be branded as an abortion of science, A mistake, A traitor, A deserting bastard who couldn't help his friend as he lay, burning.
A glint was flickering in Ray's eye as he thought of his only way to redeem himself.
He needed to enter the zone, To start anew, To forget his demons.

He ran and ran, His mutated legs carrying him much faster than his normal self.
Yet there was to visual change, He could feel his muscles bulging.

He ran to the zone.
He ran all the way.






He ran away from his problems.

As a kid he was always the money-making type, He now decided he would make his money, and a new life, Whilst fighting off the bad side. He would now crush ANYONE who would get in his way.

A tear left his eye as he felt the shockwave of the exploding nuclear site.

He would be a fabled 'goodie'... He would trade with people, no harm, no good would become of him.

After years of trading the scraps that he had found on his various journeys.

He came across papers entitled TUCA, off of a fallen trader.
Traders Union of Chernobyl; was the title.
He read and read, until finally, Thieving a pen from his fallen friend, He wrote out the application.

After posting the letter, One week ago, He returned to the spot he first found it.

In the very place it laid before, was more papers, But this time, All they said on them were...

Why do you want to become a trader: Because, selling and buying in the zone is one of the most role-played scenarios on the server.

Why do you think I should pick you, to become a trader: Cause I'm over the age of twelve, I've been roleplaying on many serious servers, and I generally don't care if people bitch at prices and etc.

What are you motives to become a trader: To maintain neutrality with all people, bandits included. Travel around the Sectors of the zone selling to anyone willing to dish out some roubles for that spare case of ammo.

One story included in the notebook is about an artillery bombardment that forced all the factions together into a small underground bunker laboratory, that proved to be a fatal trap containing various mutants such as bloodsuckers and poltergeists, Vasili was one of the few survivors that day. Lastly, Vasili is noted for his mercenary work during dark times where the economy was steeping downward, it's later stated that he ended up betraying them for a rather large fee offered from a bandit group.

Backstory (Narrative): Vasili was twenty-one when he entered the zone. He knew little, and even less of what was behold on the other side of that barricade. He was enlisted into the Ukrainian military after much educational dissapointment from his family. The zone back then was much more settled, the stalkers were few and rare in those times and artifacts were only starting to emerge as valuable. A few years after the violent wars and breakout riots within the zone between the Military and the Stalkers, Vasili was posted at Prypiat. Vasili awoke under the side of a bus, his uniform in shambles. His squad was gone and he had lost contact from the interference of a blowout within the city. He removed his insignia, and wandered alone aimlessly back to the outer-reaches of the zone. He prospered there as a Lone stalker, later joining a faction by the name of " Freedom" where it would prove to be a worthy and sucessfully long career........

    Until he fucked it all up by leading a group to their certain deaths at the end of his " Career".
He was then kicked out of Freedom for good, left alone with nothing but a Colt1911 and the Insignia of a wolf on his satchel. He became desperate for money, he did the only thing he knew how to do best... He betrayed his comrades and friends, he betrayed everyone he met. He sold them out for roubles, food, other goods. He sold information on the whereabouts of Freedom to the Duty and Military in the zone, he never regretted anything he only went on and made himself small fortunes at a steady rate. He grew tired of the lifestyle sure enough, until he came across a small form labeled " TUCA"  nailed onto the small board within the town. He ripped it off the board and held it lightly in his hands, squinting at the fineprint a small grin came across his face....

Meh, time passed, got to Manchester eventually, crime was up there, it was a gold market for me, and nobody bothered fucking with me because of me' height, I was about Six foot at the age of fifteen, by then I was selling shitty sidearms, knives, crack, weed, cigs...anything illegal or that could kill somone, by metal or plant.

Got to Nineteen, I was found out by me' dad, 'e hit me a bit, fookin' hurt at the time, I felt down...but then about a week later me dad came looking for me, wanting me back, I was over the moon, no joke either, eh. Anyway, I got in with a Gang, they needed weapons...drugs, all that stuff, but not Pistols, Shotguns, small SMGs and all the like, got to twenty three and I struck gold, crooked weapons manufacturer guy phoned me up, spoke to 'im, he was willing to sell me the Top, grade A shiz, I was up for it, soon I was in a gang, real badasses and hardcore buggers...they needed class-A crap from me, and I did what I was good at, I sold that stuff to em', made quite a profit to, heh heh heh.

So'z I was saying, found this papers in a warehouse...again, struck a gold mine, thought i'd send them to this "Traders union", its' great. Hope you find me a good candidate mate, be thrilled to deal shit in this Gold market, litterally, you get all these russian feckers running in, wanting to buy weapons to get these artifact things, then they sell them to Ecos! Them blue'ns i've seen, aah...! I can feel it now, i'll be raking the cash in!


A terrific application. Sounds like your character would knock my ass down, seeing as he's a skinny fucker. I loved the back-story as well. has a very realistic feel to it. We'll talk about your....drinking problem, although. I'm afraid drinking of this magnitude has to stop. I will discuss why when we meet.

I want to become a trader because I am attracted to the high quality of roleplay traders are frequently encountering.
I would like to become a trader, because I would like to add more sightings of new and interesting traders in the server.
Finally, I would like to become a trader because I generally like the concept of trading in SRP, it looks like a lot of fun and looks very involving.

Backstory: The name's Rowland Curtis. Currently 31 years old. I was born and raised in Upper Edmonton, North London. I was raised by my mother, my father had gone missing when I was at the age of 9. Naturally, I had a tough upbringing, I had to work an awful lot in order to gain very little. My money never went very far, most of my earnings went towards my mother when she discovered she had a brain tumor. My mother passed away when I was at the age of 20, I was all alone. I was an only child you see, I had no brothers or sisters to turn to; my parents were now absent; and I had few friends due to my social life being dominated by my work.
I finally snapped two years ago when I heard about the Zone and it's current happenings within, from a leaked article on the internet. Background: Vladimir was a street youth born in the city of Kiev, he had to fight for any any morsel of food, protection, warmth or companionship. He did quite a bit of pickpocketing, panhandling and shoplifting to survive his troubled youth. When the blowout happened he had heard numerous stories of men and women finding "Artifacts" and other priceless objects, there was no indicator of status there. He could start a whole new life, this was his dream. Vladimir first came to "The Zone" on a train he had hopped on with a small band of STALKERS, all of them looking for the promised riches and rewards. He soon found out how cruel and unforgiving "The Zone" was, he very quickly returned to a life of robbing, mugging, kidnapping and killing STALKERS for money. This is where he earned the nickname "Ghost" and soon his reputation proceeded him, many STALKERS knew of his works and were stuck with panic once they learned of him. Unfortunately this lifestyle outgrew him, he became too fat and slow to keep up with his demanding job. He soon realized that the Bandit business finding it too demanding and dangerous for him. He saw the Traders in nice clothes, owning nice, safe establishments. Looking back to his youth this is all he ever wanted, Safety and Money. He soon filled out an application.

My name is Aidan Reilly, I am Irish. I was born in a family with my mom and dad. My dad was a food sells man. He sells food and items. My mom is a car manufacturer. I have only one sister named Caitlyn Reilly. Me and my sister go to school together,but my sister is older than me. In the future my mom died and my dad died. Sometimes I go to work with my dad, but now he's dead. So now I was about...15 when my dad died. I was about  13 when my mom died. So when I was about 21 I went to the Zone. My sister on the other hand disappear...I haven't heard from her since...When I first went in to the zone I went into Duty's bar. I met a trader and he gave me a bottle of vodka, It was on him. I only had about 300 RU when I first came to the zone, I was a rookie. So I drank the vodka and it was good. I went exploring around the zone. I walked around found new places and other stuff...I found my first artifact and sold it. I got about 10.000 RU from that. Now I went to this warehouse somewhere. I camped there, but then bandit was following me. They robbed me and I had no weapons to protect me. So now I needed money. In 2012 I was still poor with no weapons. So I figure I'll go get the money by being a trader, like my dad. So here I am now trying to be trader. Maybe I'll will give a job to someone to kill those bandits who stole all my money away.

I always gathered alot of information leaflets about the place, all the sworn promises and the great, luminous sunny pictures that all reflect the white lies of flying companies, all so they can make a profit.
My past job was A chef in a 3 star resturant, 4 blocks from my old, run down small house.
Ever since I heard of Europe, I've worked hard... very hard..

Too hard...

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, months turned to 1 and A half years, before I could finally afford the ticket to england.

Now.. afew days later.. after the plane arrived to england.

I soon realised the false promises of the airlines, little did I know I was now stranded and he had nothing but his small, curved boonie and A spare change of clothes to accompany him through this bleak hell.
I walked on down the streets, seeing the less fortunate around myself, stuck in their own hell and suffering for it.
I couldn't give A rats arse about A job though, his depression kept his confidence from rising, like A hard sell above A growing seed.
That is, until I found the key to lift that hard cover, or die trying...
Practically.

Now, If I give all the details for how I got to Ukraine, it would honestly take afew days, so I will cut it slightly short;
I joined the TA, went to afghanistan, replaced in germany, quit the TA after 3 years and then travelled to Ukraine.
Ukraine wasn't any better than england, but then I heard of the chernobyl incident...

I got into my van, and drove off, drafting A van full of people.
They stopped at the checkpoint, then went through.

          The day was cold and the emission was ending. You could not imagine the fear I had as I waited with the other stalker. My Trader Union badge fell off my Duty Scat [I used to be a duty trader]. As I watched the ground shake I shivered and went into a deep sleep. When i awoke the next day, the stalker was gone along with my scat and I was half way across the whole zone! I said to my self, "Eh this is a load of shit." I soon recognized I was in the Garbage. I searched for shelter and a place to work i came across a small stalker encampment looking for a good sales man. As i entered the camp they greeted me warmly and accepted right away. I worked with the stalkers for a year now but the profit was not what i wanted at all i told the stalker i had to leave to find my true trading location and left with a bag full of trading goods and a sunrise suit i set off to find a empty bar space. I could not imagine that rads bar was empty i would not even try to look. Soon as i went bar to bar i gave up i sold goods to stalkers that were traveling and made even less profit from that the when i was selling at the stalker camp.  I later stumbled across a traders union flier with a missing trader notice my name was on it As i checked the date it was titled 3 years ago they must have forgotten me by now but maybe jusy maybe i could get a fresh start.

               As i went into the 100 rads bar i grabbed a pen and started to write my application in i could feel that i was returning to my true place in the traders union the barkeep looked up at me and looked at my application and recognized me  he told me that i was missing for quite some time so he told me about how the emission had changed the zone quite a bit and the changes in the land, The new factions ,And the new opportunity's. He gave me a location were to go on my PDA and handed me a letter of recommendation. It was going to be a long travel but it was worth it. I said to my self - A fresh start new life and even more opportunity's for making Ru-.
