(This faction is both passive and aggressive RP as explained below)

The campfire was warm and cozy, with the music playing, and the six men hanging around it.
"Common, pass the beer, man!" Laughter ensued, followed by more socialization.
A bright light sped across the distant landscape, with a sharp snap breaking the once-calm air.
They all looked up, knowing what was going to happen, and heard the one thing they dreaded - the radio.
"On open frequen --- Shit, they've spot ----- Call back ---"
All the men knew what was coming next.
"Alright, boys, looks like we have a job to do."
The men picked up their rifles, kicked dirt over the fire, and left the camp barren, with one Sentry to keep watch.
And so the group hoofed it through the muck and the mud to where the firefight raged on, knowing they'd have to put it out.

The Shattered Union (further called 'TSU'), sometimes referred to as the 'United Nations' of the Zone, is a peace-keeping force consisting of ex-Duty, Freedom, Mercenaries, and Stalkers. They want to maintain an equilibrium of powers within the Zone, and frequently team up with other factions so as to finish skirmishes between enemy factions quicker to allow for more time of peace. TSU also helps in supplying most factions with extra food and water supplements, and helps in the shipment of guns in rare cases. Unfriendly towards Monolith and sometimes the Ukranian Ground Forces, they are different from other groups, and almost never engage in firefights unless forced to or placed in a dire situation, or as before stated, if they team up to solve battles. Making camp between the major faction territories allows them to maintain somewhat of a 'border patrol' to further keep peace.

Most Union members do not wear any very special gear, however, all wear a clothing piece that shows they are with The Shattered Union, and it is typically a sash. The highest-ranked members placed in the field from an external Headquarters are equipped with:

Makarov PM with 9x18 rounds
