Doing a small Terraria Roleplay server

However, this will not be anything like Iseyu.
Planning to start tuesday.

TL;DR backstory.
"You are a refugee from a wartorn nation, and you have banded with other survivors in a small community. Plague has stricken the dead, and monsters roam about. Will you Survive?"

Returning members as well as new players will pm me their applications.

Rules:
Base Rules: No hellivators, senseless destruction of land.
Other rules: Outside the settlement is open PVP. Buildings outside the settlement area can and will be robbed if not properly protected.

Other items of Interest:
Licenses will be given to players who prefer to have a legit job in server.
Like Mining, Logging, or Fishing.
Players doing this without a license is Illegal, however not against rules.
If you catch a player doing something illegal, report it to the officials. You will be paid, and the person will be put in jail for 1 in game day. Licensed Bounty Hunters get paid more than Unlicensed Bounty Hunters.

Things that do not require a License: Raiding chests in open areas, killing monsters, unofficial bounty hunting.

Testing Roleplay theories/ideas.
It's not an official HGN server, and it has nothing to do with previous installments of the Server. I am doing this for two reasons.

1) Because I miss roleplaying with people on terraria, other sites just don't have the right feel.
2)testing purposes, seeing what people will like/dislike/put up with.

You should try to set up FOnline server dedicated to roleplaying.

Still working things out with the host. As for applications, you could use the old Iseyu one. Doesn't really matter to me.

I feel like there are so many other interesting platforms to host a roleplay server on. In my opinion if somebody were to give me a choice between roleplaying on minecraft or terraria, i'd pick minecraft all day. Just seems like an all in all more interesting platform to host a roleplay on.

Well, Terraria has one more update in the works before the guys start working on Terraria 2. And to be honest, I really want to see what he's going to do with it. But other than that there isn't much to be said.

And now that Microsoft bought out Mojang... I can only imagine the hell that is to come.

I think both Terraria and Minecraft for this idea would have their pros and cons. Minecraft is larger and 3d allowing for more REALISTIC gameplay and it is a bit more realistic in general, while Terraria has a lot more content but is a lot less terrain expansive.
