TnB is taking over whole HL2 RP theme but for sure we can take over the lead if we launch HL2 RP server which will be a serious as possible with a well working script.

Would be nice if we would follow next canons : Half-Life 2 , Half-Life 2 Beta , Half-Life 2 EP1 and Half-Life 2 EP2 .

Radiation Script or TS1 ? (Ofc if we choose TS1 it will make us look like another mini community) or we could make our own script (It's gonna take a while i guess.)

Well i guess it would be nice to get HL2 RP back because it's awsome.

Cumbeans ftw, Didnt we have a hl2 rp and it died after a bit D:? If we did this, we would need strong rebel presence because i cant stand it when cumbean rule everything 24/7 (however i love being them). For the average people to have fun you need that. If we had a server, and had people in a lot, people would join in and it would grow, but it needs roots.

When i'm combine CP I always stm, which I personaly thought was the way it should be, encoraging the rebles, for more RP less Combine win now back for rations >:) (Stun stick for running to fast... EVERY other community has HL2 RP. I find it kind of boring myself. Unless there is like a rebellion every day or something it would be really boring to be a citizen who has to follow Combine rules day in and day out. And if there WAS a rebellion every day then it would turn into DM and be stupid. It looks like everyone else wants it so my say probably doesn't matter but I will almost certainly stay on STALKER TSRP because I find that setting much more interesting.

There are too many HL2 RP Communities sprouting up. Of-Course TnB is the current leading HL2 RP community in terms of popularity.
HL2 RP Get's boring, I for one know it, I've had a few years experience in Shh HL2 serious RP and HL2 land. We explored every possible lead for roleplay, including:

Combine, Civil Protection, Citizens, Resistance groups, Black market, Scanners, Manhacks, Helicopters, Gunships, Dropships, Antlions, Vortigaunts, Headcrabs. Everything realistic that could be roleplayed with a future of that certain group. TnB Went as far as RP'ing as Doors, benches and vending machines, now that's saying something about how everything was stale.
Now, this is based BEFORE Gordan Freeman arrives. It just goes on and on.

Half Life 2 Beta. What? New models, 'new' scenarios. I can somewhat see some originality as models with animations which exist could be imported; stuff like 'Combine Assassin', 'Combine Cremator', 'Synth Walker' could be roleplayed. But, it's still HL2 in early stages of development.

Episode 1: Based on when the Citadel is about to explode. The Citadel explodes within 16 hours of Gordan Freeman being revived. Roleplaying a continuously melting down boiling Citadel which is supposed to explode seems silly. It's like roleplaying 'The Day before the Chernobyl incident.' The Day will just keep going on and on and the real exciting stuff will never happen. Sure you could make the plant explode, but that's the same as Gordan Freeman arriving in HL2 RP; it ends.

Episode 2: I can see this working. Lots of new roles to be made, maps easily modified and made, content existing and changeable. It seems like a brilliant idea, everyone loves HL2 : EP2, so why not HL2 : EP2 RP? It's an original concept and has never been done before. It could work and could be popular if done properly.
It's still HL2 RP, but in a completely new, fresh scenario. Original roles are still available and can be RP'ed in new ways. New roles can be introduced like Hunters, Combine Shotgunners, Advisors, and new antlions.
Brand new locations to roleplay like Mines, Bridges, small towns, countryside, and more.

City-17 = Destroyed
City-16 = Military Industrial City
City-8   = Taken over by TnB

I'm trying to say that we will need a new map and all canons mixed together. (That's actually the way TnB did that. Only thing is that they cut out HL2 BETA and EP2)

May i help with the dev? i have atlease 2 years experience with HL2- RP and i know what fails and what works. + i probebly know more about the HL2 lore then most, so accuracy it key with me. (not to sacrafice GP and RP ofc)

sorry for duel post but i think this need touching on. By sending us into EP2 contryside terratory, we will be killing-off alot of RP for PEW, this is not what most good role-players want. Eg, "oh look, a citizen running around in a field, kill him!" Wile the citizens haveing a nice time passive RPing rolling around in the grass, a hunter comes up and impales him with its spikes... or would it be just a mass of rebels keeping silver-forset base running? If not that then this is just Longlostblakes "Combine-fall RP" with a EP2 slant.

Also looking at the "Citadel explishion*" thing. a mild contradiction- The citidel is blowing-up, thus gordon is in the contryside, thus the rocket launch would need to happen to forward time, thus our RP would stop it happaning, thus haveing a loop of RP.

I've also alot of exp with Hl2 EP.... under canon i mean.... we follow strictly HL2 Canon and timeline , but we will take stuff from other HL's too like Hunters , Core , Cremator , Assassin etc...


Server should be about 1-2 years before Gordon.

Yes except that people standing around complaining about living under Combine rule would get very old very fast. As would the Combine beating down citizens. Nothing new would ever happen. Plus there's so much competition out there with HL2RP already that maintaining a player base (especially in the face of TnB which has been around for a while) would be extremely hard unless we had something uber different than what's already there, which would be hard since the HL2 canon is pretty well covered. The only thing I could see having a hope of working would be EP2 RP.
