Real Life Chernobyl:

25th of April 1986 an experiment took place in the 4th block of the Chernobyl power plant. A team of engineers and scientists wished to verify that the

turbines could produce enough power in the case of a total failure of electricity, thus ensuring that the emergency cooling would function correctly. To

allow the experiment to take place under realistic conditions, the emergency program "Average Protection" was turned off. In so doing, all the important

security functions such as the emergency cooling and the emergency retraction of the brake rods, were taken offline. However, the launch of the

experiment was postponed, and the unprepared night shift undertook the experiment, failing to understand that the test environment that took place

earlier in the day had left the reactor unprotected.
Because of the poor condition in the Chernnobyl nuclear plant, heat was unable to be controlled, and it caused the nuclear power plant to become

extremely unstable. The fuel rods, which were under massive pressure and heat under normal circumstances, In the active zone a chemical reaction took

place between the many elements in the Reactor. A huge explosion rocked the area for miles, sending radiation for miles, into towns and houses.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S.' Chernobyl:

The begginning of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is similar, but a sharp turn is taken when a second explosion rocks the Zone contaminated by the first explosion. The

seconds explosion, who's cause was unknown at the time, damaged an area much larger than the original explosion, and created a bubble of radiation

around Chernobyl's area. The only bright side that could be seen from the point of view of the Ukranian gov't is when they sent in retriev and survey

teams to explore the area around the Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) they found wonderful objects that glowed colors, shone brightly and had many different

properties. These objects were called artifacts by the Ecologists visiting the Zone. The money value of these artifacts was realized quickly, and many

outlaws, mercenaries and bounty hunters a from all over the Zone came to make a quick small fortune off of the artifacts, which were created in pools

and blobs of radioactive areas. In our roleplay you play as one of these people, a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. , who wants to made money, settle an agreement, or

whatever you see fitting for your character.



Our Script:

We are currently using a script aptly named Radiationscript, it is a variant of another popular roleplay script that has been heavily modified for use

in S.T.A.L.K.E.R Roleplay. It has the necessities of roleplays, all your yelling, whispering, object discriptions, and actions your roleplaying brain can

handle. The script is made for serious roleplay, and it has features such as

- Bleeding after a player has had much damage done to him

- Recoil on the weapons

- Searchable corpses that drop weapons and items at random

- Factions for players to join ( Via forum sign up )

- Faction paychecks

- Mutant factions, for respected players!

- A feature that makes players unable to shoot and sprint, reducing DM

- A fully working inventory

- Weapon conditioning



Our Content:

At S.T.A.L.K.E.R Roleplay we use almost completely custom models, ported from the game s.T.A.L.K.E.R. as well as skins from the game, like the Freedom and

Duty suits, and Exo-skelotens. Weapons are also custom models, and we have custom sound for each.

- Custom player models

- Custom props

- Custom map, currently 4 sectors wide, and based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

- Sounds from S.T.A.L.K.E.R, including blow-outs, bloodsucksers and gun sounds.

- Custom foliage to add realism



The S.T.A.L.K.E.R Roleplay Experience:

Ever feel like roleplay isn't close enough to the real thing? Here at HGN we offer you the best experience in S.T.A.L.K.E.R roleplay. As soon as you enter,

you will see players moving about, people resting and talking, and traders doing their business. You might even witness a gunfight between Duty and

Freedom, just make sure not to get caught in the crossfire!
There are regular flights by military helicopters, scouting the area, missions custom made by players, and mutants roving for lonely S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs who think

they can brave The Zone alone.
You can do what you want, you can relax with other loners, do missions, and even go mutant hunting if you're brave and stupid enough. If you have been

in The Zone for long enough ( 2 Weeks for most groups ) you can join a faction or a group, and receive pay, and weapons. You prove your worth and

reliance to your faction by doing missions, braving dangers and making friends.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R isn't just about shooting, it's about manipulating as well. You can become the mastermind behind an organization that controls power in many

places, yet never fire a shot. You can also just relax with your friends, and maybe smoke some weed with Freedom.


The S.T.A.L.K.E.R roleplay experience is hard to sum up in words, because it is a visual one.
