Almost nothing is broken about this game. It all works exactly as it's supposed to, except the authentication servers were so stressed that they crashed and had to be kept shut down. Unfortunately, the authentication server is required to do nearly every single thing in the game. Give it another day, and the stress from the massive amount of players should be gone.

Furthermore, get your damned facts straight before you go around saying shit is broken.

I have experienced it first hand. I cannot complete training, even when I get under 1 minute in the obstacle course, and hit every target without missing at the firing range. I even experienced an invisible drill sergeant and a purple soldier.

The game is not broken. The servers that are supposed to be supporting the game, and that are required to do basically everything, are overloaded. Give it a day, MAYBE EVEN TWO DAYS (:0), and it should all be resolved.

Whats did they expect? they relesed it on steam.

Steam isn't supporting the game. Steam supported the release. The actual backbone, the supporting servers that make everything work, are the Army Game Project's responsibility. They fucked up. They should have had more servers. Steam got bogged down as well, but not nearly as bad as the authentication servers did.

Is the game actually decent? The beta was buggy as hell.

Good question, so many players are trying to play that the servers that record your training stats are unable to do, preventing anyone from actually getting into the game. From the training it looks cool.

I loved the beta. It wasn't as glitchy as everyone claims, and the lag was just because it was a beta. The beta wasn't given the support of all of the servers it needed. It would've been nice if more resources were allotted to the beta and the final release.

Hey guys, they fixed it.

Just played it, it's ugly (you can see the jagged edges on models) its boring.. (like the past two games, training shit makes you want to fall asleep) Its glitchy as fuck... (It crashed at least 20 times in the space of 10 minutes, mostly when loading missions) and i will not forget that its a marketing scam to get young amiercans to join the Army...

Also, if you want to go kill something, go play css.

breslau: period

Yeah the jagged models/textures make identifying friendlies at range really difficult but the game is pretty fun once you get in.

CS:S isn't as tactical as AA. Though I'd probably take ArmA 2 over anything else as it looks epic.

It's extremely fun when it works. I played for hours yesterday. The hotfix released today broke the game for me, and 90% of the rest of Steam users. Can't launch training. Also, CS:S is nothing like this. The general them is similar, the gameplay and mechanics are 100% different.

Im not really impressed by it. Tbh

I've been having fun with this game for days. Anyone who isn't playing this game is missing out, truly. Then again, the playerbase doesn't need to be filled with people who whine and quit the second something goes wrong, so, it's sort of a way to weed out the people we don't want as well.

What the fucxk is this?

Its an ok game. Still alot of errors in it. Alot of people i know cant even play it cause it crashes.

Also, ITS A GAME, doesnt 'weed out' anyone. Just cause you play an FPS doesnt me do other stuff amazingly.

Yeah you got to get on STALKER RP too as today there were like 10 Freedomers with no Dutyers to fuck up.

You know Hockey that game really more then likely embarrassed the hell out of the army for it's poor quality so much so they fired the entire dev team I think that says something in it's self and it doesn't hurt to get some Dutyers active too.

Ok just because I feel for the Devs it wasn't entirely their fault. There was a statement one of the Devs made about how the Army was less than helpful and demanding impossible deadlines and not paying for it and all sorts of other shit. I feel bad for the Devs.

Ouch that is really fucked up then I take back what I said.
