ROLEPLAYING QUESTIONNAIREYou wake up in the middle of a strange forest. You have no tools or weapons; all you have are the clothes on your back. What would be your first course of action?(RP it.):
I blearily force my eyes open, and groan as I ignore the cramps in my back. I've just spent a night or more upon the cold, hard floor of the forest, and it takes me several minutes to recuperate. By the time I'm OK, I observe my surroundings. Tall trees, chilled winds, and quiet. A silent forest, save the rustle of the leaves overhead. I shake off my premonition and start off towards the sunrise, following a creek for hours.
Things have looked up for you after a few days of survival.
An old man in a wagon offers to give you a lift towards Civilization. He does look troubled, as it seems that bandits have been around this area.Would you travel with this man?(RP it.)
I duck behind the nearest tree when I hear the wagon. I cautiously look out from behind it, and watch the cripple whip the horse as his unbalanced wagon limps through the forest. I search around, and see nothing in the immediate. I stroll into the road and wait for him to reach me. The cart slows as it nears me, and he spits a glob of chewing tobacco from his mouth. He eyes me warily before addressing me. "Not too often I meet another man in these woods, but for some reason, when I do, they're always bare-backed and lost." "Sorry to continue the pattern. Believe me, it's unintentional." "Of course it is. It always is." The man sighed. "Look, I'll give you a ride to the next town, if you like." "What're the terms?" The man is surprised at being so straightforwardly calculated. "Ain't no secret bandit's been roaming these woods. I give you a knife, you help keep me safe." He spits his hand and holds it out. "We have a deal?" I approach the cart, look at his hand, then spit in my own hand and clasp his. "We do."
"Good. Get in back, there's a knife behind some of those grain bags in a box. Time to be off." The cart rattles along once more, and heads down the path.
After a few hours of traveling,
bandits appear and demand you and the man give them 10 coins each as a tax to pass. The man gives them his coins, the bandits now look at you. What do you do?(RP it.):
I quickly gauge each of the four bandits. Ragged and reeking, they stand before us, knifes at the ready. I glance at the nearest, who seems to be their leader, wearing a hat.
"I ain't gonn' ask you again, scum. Gimme yer coin, and be quick 'bouts it." He raises the knife further.
"No." He seems stunned, and growls again. "That's it, now yer gonn' get it. Boys, less-" "What-what's that?" I furrow my brows and point beyond him. He turns, as do the others. The quickly glance about. "What're ye talking 'bout? I don't see any-" His voice ends as my dagger penetrates his throat, blood streaming down his neck. I quickly shove him off of it, and stab the next man in the back, where his heart is. He screams and falls to his knees, and the others turn around. I hear the wagon owner yelling at me, but ignore him as I roll to the side and quickly open the next man's side, twirling up behind him to finish the job. The last bandit, by now, has realized what is happening, and distances himself from me cautiously. I relieve the choking bandit beneath me of his knife, and hurl it at the other. He attempts to jump out of the way, but it catches him in the shoulder, sending him spinning to the ground. A quick heel to the temple, and all is quite once more, save the horse's whinnies and the leaves above. "Well,... damn. I guess I made the right choice, eh?" the old man mutters softly as I retrieve his gold and loot the corpses. "I got a spare change of clothes in back. Yours are a little... bloody." I glance down at my stained, soaked clothes and nod once. "Thanks. I'll just be a minute."
You have finally made it to Civilization!
However, you have no money (http://www.forums.hypergamer.net/terraria-caphori-roleplay-server/((new))-caphori-password-application-thread/#) in your possession; and to make matters worse, you're very hungry. So you make your way to the marketplace. What action(s) would you take?(RP it.)
I locate the nearest tavern, and head towards that. The merry shouts and laughs greet me as I step through the doors, and I soak in the warmth. There appears to be a party at the bar, a promotion or marriage acceptance, most likely. I head towards the nearest stool, and take my seat. "Anybody want to buy this guy a drink?" I call out, and am answered by several 'aye's as the bartender hands me a frothing mug. I sip tentatively, then continue to drain half the glass. The bartender watches me curiously, and addresses me. "You new around here? Can't say I've seen you before." "I suppose. What makes you ask?" "I know just about every man in this town, and can't recall your face. What's your business here?" "Just passing through. Nothing to worry about." I turn slightly, and observe the rest of the tavern. I turn back as I realize he was still talking to me. "... and you haven't any money either, I assume?" "What makes you say that?" "Only a broke man strolls into a stranger inn in a stranger town and calls for a free one." I smile at that. "You got me. What does it matter?" "If you're willing to clean up after hours, I'll let you stay the night. Sound good to you?" My grin widens. "Sounds great."Ugh. I broke the font and text and crap, please ignore the obvious problems.
