To be honest, I would rather be in the Imperial Guard, but I agree with you, that most people would probably want to be the Space Marines.

When I originally though up the idea, Marines were event-only characters and most people would be IG/Civillians/Cultists

But there's going to be factions everywhere.

Sure there'll be some civillians but I can see most people being IG. Because it's the best easiest job.

If I'm correct a lasgun does the same amount of damage as a 30mm would do. (That's right a 30mm)
