Is safety a problem?: Having to deal with safety issues has been a regular occurrence in my life, so I have formed a tolerance for dangerous situations that have occurred quite frequently during my travels.

Teamwork Skills: I worked as a journalist for a local newspaper prior to the Chernobyl incident,  so I had to get advice from my peers to perfect articles. I always took criticism well, or at least better than others.

Is safety a problem?: No, I was commonly out on the field gathering research for my articles, and even though I always carried a sidearm of some sort, I never had to use it. I handle myself... pretty well in hectic situations.

Abilities: Due to my history as a professional writer and journalist, I've become experienced at publishing and presenting findings, whether they be good or bad.

How long will you be in the zone?: Until I see a reason to not be.

Achievements: I received the highest grades in my Journalism class as well as my Microbiology class. I didn't exceed quite as well in Genetics, but I still passed with what most would call 'flying colors.'

Work History: I withheld a short internship at Adams Microbiological Laboratory, but I quickly saw that my skills were needed elsewhere. After graduating from college,  I was employed with the Denver Post, who shipped me over to Ukraine to cover the odd activities at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. After a month and a half there, I decided I wished to stay. I was hired by a local newspaper, and worked there for a short year. After the incident, I find myself here, enlisting myself to the Ecologists.

Work History: Researched at Washington University for a couple years, then got an urgent call from some past partners who got stationed in Ukraine to try to research radiation dissipation and shielding, they needed someone with experience on superconductors and their limits. I replied to the partners plea, and moved off to Ukraine, then the Chernobyl accident happened, and i decided to stay in the zone to learn about its wonders.

That is unknown. I will stay as long as it takes to gather the valuable knowledge that the Zone holds.

Achievements:
I was on the team that created a cyborg beetle. The beetle has an advanced device (consisting of implanted electrodes, a micro battery, a radio receiver, and a microprocessor) on its back that sends electrical signals through the beetle's brain and flight muscles, allowing us to control it with a remote.

Backstory:John was born in a small town full of evil people. John was raised in a horrible environment.
