I just formated my computer, and re-installed everything 'n shit.


So, after that I download all the SVN's and maps and whenever I join the server I instantly get a black screen. I can hear, see my health/stamina and menus but
everything is black.


If I'm lucky I get 20 minutes of gameplay before it turns black.

Probably your Graphics card, or you are bumping your desk and your monitor becomes unplugged or something.

Update drivers.

I had all drivers updated.  It's fixed now, I played with the Gmod settings a bit.
