Here's an idea or two:
You could rip animations from STALKER itself. I'm sure there's some way for them to work.
Also, because STALKER only has (probably) sitting animations for it, you could require the player to be sitting to use it.

Oh and a cheaper alternative to a guitar: A harmonica! Fewer songs, but quite a bit cheaper.

And if this ever happens, we need to use the guitar sounds from the mod Oblivion Lost. They sing too! :3

1,000 Roubles for a tuned acoustic guitar in good condition sounds good.
If you actually play the guitar you would understand the ergonomics behind it. It's complicated to make one, especially in the Zone where materials are scarce. Plus if you find a carpenter in the zone (Which is very unlikely) he would charge more than 1,000 RU to custom make one.

Why not have it so it has five different sounds or strings, and then when you press LMB it opens a menu where you can bind them to keys or just click on icons, along with the song idea?
