An event would be good for FORP at this time it, may attract new players and bring them into the fallout roleplay setting.

How to get new people to play on FORP: Invite them from your friends list.
How not to get new people to play on FORP: Do an event because they're not playing on the server yet.....
"Mommy, when is Daddy coming home?"
"Here, Alex.. Daddy sent us a package.. The soldier told us that it.. might be a while until Daddy's done with his service. Don't worry, you'll see him soon, Alex.."
"He's always gone! I never get to see him!"

How about not being a troll in the forum, in a server you don't even play on?

This isn't trolling. This is useful advice.

hi guys lets take advice and call it trolling because we're ignorant.

Stop the Flamebaiting please, now back on topic.

I would like to see suggestions relating to the topic please.

Spades: I didn't view this as trolling. A dickish sarcastic remark, sure, but not trolling.

Horror Event like what?

Suggestions for events usually ruin the suprise buddy, its best to think of a event whether its combat based or passive based and go from there.  Having people announce the entire idea here ruins the mystery to the event.  I've got a couple ideas but you should ask me in SF.

Can't surprise an empty server.

Because 14 players average is empty.

You guys should do an event for Crussaria. I bet people would--oh wait.

Hi, I'm an SV on Fallout, that means I can bash other servers with no repercussions, but if you bash mine I'll ban you.

If this were an earlier time, you'd be correct, your post would be removed, and you'd be banned without question. :P Fortunately for us all, I've changed a bit for the better. You'll notice above I've edited Gamerhead's posts. You have valid points. It wasn't trolling.

Though in all seriousness, I'd like Plunger to mind their own business. Exile permabanned Plunger off Fallout RP for a very good reason. He should be trying to get Crussaria active instead of complaining about Fallout, which he hasn't logged into for serious RP for probably a year. His idea of getting Crussaria "active" is logging onto the server for an hour once a week and sitting on his ass idling until people log in--which, of course, they don't, because as you stated earlier...

Replace FORP with Crussaria, and it's the same deal.

Anyway, we're getting off track. This is about FORP, not Crussaria. Yes, this is good advice. Exams are making it difficult for everyone to log on, but we've got some events planned.

Spades, no need to be spiteful, they are telling the truth FRP has been on a down time the past two weeks along with CRP.

Back on topic IF YOU DONT MIND ME

For me to do events I like building on it over a coarse of time before it settles and becomes an actual event. I can help you guys with these events. But, what I would like it if the NCR was on a bit more and passive about their lives and situation.

For one idea, how about a murder mystery in the town. Have the players come to town, seeking shelter during some sort of sandstorm or something to herd them towards the safety of NCR. People start to slowly be picked off one by one (Selected people who are in on the events of corase) And the wasters/NCR have to figure out who the murder is. In the end they are either put them on trial and have to piece the evidence together or kill the murder before he takes the next victim. (With a possible chance it being the wrong person)

Another idea, how about a shipping supply for NCR is over run by raiders and the NCR has to retrieve these supply or risk running out of ammo until next shipment. Even worse, their is a possible chance the raiders could be using their own guns against them if they don't get them back.

Or another idea, you guys can go into the underground after losing contact of a scouting party.... but then again I'm sick of hosting events there when I'm the only one doing the creepy and scare factor. :|
I used to be an adventure like you, but then the shadow started chasing me through a castle filled with monsters.

I blame exams week for FRP's downtime. We were doing fine until, incidentally, exams started. CRP has been down for much longer. There looked like some progress recently, but then it all just got screwed over. Personally I'd love to be proven wrong and see Crussaria become active, because I was looking forward to it. However all the admins have the attitude of "CRP is dead and no one cares so we don't care." It's really disappointing. Forgive my spitefulness.

I understand where you are coming from just don't stupe down to a lower level is all I am saying.  We all know CRP has been inactive for a long time but, from what I have seen SRP and FRP have both befitted from it by an increase in players.  I think that once finals are over FRP will be flourishing and active again, until then we just need to focus on small things to get people on the server like events and such.

I've got a few ideas in mind for events. I'm waiting for Exile to put Server 2 back up. Today, both FRP and Crussaria, even that SCP server are apparently all down for fixes. Hopefully this means when it's all back up Server 2 will be also.

Anouther example of HGN trolling itself into a frenzy
