Only Head Paladins, Head Knights, Head Scribes and Elders may edit, add information to the Codex.  The Codex will consist of advances in our sciences and maternance advances and tactical advances.

I'd like to be the first to state that one of our own, Senior Scribe Jade has made a small break through in the effects of Plasma.  I'll create a log on Plasma below and the effects.  Steel be with you and look to the codex at your desperate times.

The Plasma

Oh how I do enjoy the warm glow of green Plasma, its quite a shame how we do not fully understand these effects though I shall detail in this log what we have discovered.

The elements for Plasma.

No Medical effects
[spoiler]Senior Scribe Jade reporting my findings.
I've been experimenting with the plasma on any possible uses it could have in the medical sciences. As it would turn out, the energy itself which is what we have is not of any good uses. It simply is to unstable to use and burns instantly through flesh and in most cases, armor. I've already tried using it and it proved to be more fatal than helpful. However, I have concluded its uses in combat, even though thats not my area of expertise. It seems that it can melt away the exterior of any armor, that including our own T-45's. It breaks down the compounds and molecules that bind it together and melt them away. Within 2 - 3 shots the plasma burns a hole into the armor and will begin to burn through the chest of a human skeleton. The reaction of even one shot is enough to continue burning a hole until it reaches vital organs and eventually kills you.To conclude, Not many uses for medical, More useful for combat.

The reaction of a Fusion Cell against raw Plasma

[spoiler]There is a brief over load in the Plasma rifle causing the rifle to loose its function, investigating into this we discovered that the Plasma seems to reject the Cell energy causing it spit.  Laser energy and Plasma energy can not mix as it can over load a weapon to be rendered ineffective.[/spoiler]

The effects of a Over charged cell in a Plasma rifle.
[spoiler]The Plasma leaves the rifle in a wide spread, covering the area ahead in the warm sticky green glow.  The location fired upon begins to melt rapidly and quickly as all the remnants are turned to a waste.  The result on the rifle is minor damage due to the sheer force and power caused by the Over charged cell.  Most facinating.[/spoiler]

The matter replaced from a decisive hit on a object or person.

[spoiler]Remnant waste, it leaves small traces of cells from the origional object, majority of cells have been consumed and reformated to be apart of Uus, however ineffective and potentially harmless after five minutes after exposure to the air.  Plasma seems to eat its way through armor effectively.  Plasma caused major damage against organic material as it is more simple to break down and consume, the result is the same matter replaced, Remnant waste.[/spoiler]

The Enclave

The Enclave from what we have been informed are a mysterious group operating inside California, we have not recovered much infomation however we have recovered technology that they have possessed, we are currently researching there technology.

The Vertibird
[spoiler]Unknown, Titus destroyed the Vertibird, we have not recovered additional information.[/spoiler]

Zulu
[spoiler]From what we know, this term "ZULU" is the name of a squad that had been sent to the NCR base to destroy all personel in sight, nothing more has been learned so far apart from this.[/spoiler]

Virtual Reality Simulator

Pre-war training simulators designed to train soldiers in the art of combat.

Data
[spoiler]VR simulators were a fairly new technology before the Great War and are known to have been in use on in the United states Military.  These simulators are known to have no civilian or entertainment applications, the question remains whether they were part of another project.  We understand that there may be a possability and link that they involve the training and development of power armor.  However we may never know this as the Great War occured.  Great knowledge once again lost due to the blaze of fire and radiation.[/spoiler]

Difficulty
[spoiler]Realistic difficulty, from what we know the simulator isn't easy.  Though aparently once you die you don't quite die.  There seems to be a sort of respawn system as disconnecting would disconnect all users. [/spoiler]
