To the commanding officers of the Amargosa research outpost,

It has come to our attention that this "New California Republic" tribal group is more of a threat than we had initially anticipated. Consequently, we will be sending a special forces unit to deal with this nuisance, and they will be equipped with heavy weaponry. Expect their arrival in a few days--a week at most. They have been given orders to follow a 'scorched earth' policy upon assaulting the enemy base to ensure that the are either completely eliminated or crippled beyond ability to retaliate further, which should at least bring about a cease-fire agreement.

Command will be sending Captain James 'Pinpoint' Townes and fireteam Zulu. You will salute when they arrive.
